Absolutely amazing service. Stumbled across this place whilst having a weekend away near by. The food is cooked to perfection, the staff are incredibly friendly. The bar staff were also amazing. Definitely recommend! Thanks again guys :)
This place is a tug I war in my head. They used to have lovely meals, just too expensive. They now have an Indian, nice staff but again. There's one a mile down the road, half the price and tastier. The building itself if quirky English, a nice village pub to go and play a board game or sit in the bear gardens the staff are great.
Fabulous pub with fabulous staff and fabulous food. Met by a lovely, friendly member of bar staff. Had the homemade beef burger with fries and slaw. Delicious burger and definitely homemade. Didn’t wait long for it to be served, and it was piping hot. I can definitely recommend stopping off here if in the area.
We have been here a few times in the last 6 months and the food and service has been consistently excellent. They have a fantastic a la carte menu with great pub favourites as well as some neuvo cuisine items to suite all appetites. They have a cracking Sunday roast, great proper homemade Yorkshire puddings! Service is brilliant, warm and friendly exactly what you would want from a cosy village pub.
Cracking pub. Great selection on all drinks, meal menu was fab, great choice. Has apparently not long been taken over,they have done an excellent job. Its really clean warm and friendly nice place for a quiet or family meal.
Pubs itself is ok, food hygiene rating is only 2!. Also my glass had not one but two different sets of lipstick prints on the rim. Questionable hygiene practices.
Warm friendly pub and restaurant. The menu was nicely varied. I had the pigeon for starters which was very tasty. The posh fish and chips for mains which was a nice spin on an old favourite. Followed by crumble of the day with custard which I have to say was perfectly hot. I can't abare a luke warm desert. The service was good and the prices were what you would expect from a country pub. I would certainly eat there again
