    I’m not sure if this place is officially part of Costa Coffee or not. At first glance it looks like it might be, but the experience doesn’t really match what I usually find in a Costa. There aren’t the usual sandwiches, cakes, or sweet treats you’d expect, and even the coffee machines are different. The staff seemed rather disengaged, almost as if they were working reluctantly, and the overall service felt a bit absent-minded. As for the coffee itself, it didn’t have much in common with the flavour I normally enjoy at Costa. Overall, it left me a bit confused — it carries the Costa branding, but it doesn’t deliver the Costa experience.

    The upstairs cafe is awful. Ordered a sausage roll only to be told they only had vegan/vegetarian. Waited 30 minutes for a latte, kept trying to ask the girls where it was and they’d walk off and ignore us. Chicken bites were nice but pricey for what they are.

    This whole experience was shocking went in seen they had vegan options for ice creams and asked the person behind the counter if they had the vegan chocolate advertised they say yes, after noticing the menu had 2 chocolate options one vegan one not and only one chocolate icecream in the freezer I asked again if the vegan option was available to which I was again told yeah no issues. After been handed the icecream and not been confident I tasted it myself and was sure it wasn’t vegan after asking twice more I told and been ignored I told them I wasn’t happy that it was vegan person behind counter then laughed and advised they wasn’t sure either . I told them this was a huge issue and would have landed my child in hospital to which I was just met with a shrug. Really poor set up and staff just didn’t care.

    Aweful. Food burnt, Costa Coffee err, no it doesn’t taste like Costa. Only one person serving when she’s not chatting and laughing with her mate. Avoid!

    Absolutely horrendous service. There were two girls just stood by the coffee machine watching the queue get forever longer, while the young guy took and served customers. Waited 25mins to get 2 lattes...those girls are either simple or just plain workshy.

    Only two staff members on a busy bustling Saturday... struggling to keep up with the orders and ever-growing queue, all tables were dirty and rubbish everywhere. Half the flavours of ice-cream were unavailable. We saw so many people start queueing then give up... Such a waste of potential for a place like this! Management need to sort it out and look after their staff properly! The two guys working on Saturday should get a medal!

    One sandwich and two scoops of ice cream for £8.40. After questioning, I was advised “The board is incorrect and the till is showing the price as that, sorry there is nothing I can do”. Not happy. Wouldn’t recommend

    Not happy because if you ordered a coffee you won't get it in cup but a Take away single use cap.
