   my daughter went here like she always has and they have been brilliant, she had a tyre that had gone flat in a short space of time ,to get it checked, they saw she also had a car seat in the back, said tyre looked ok but as she had them fitted in 2019 she needed new ones as they wouldn't be safe now due to the age, even though they had 4mm tread,look in great condition, the tyres are fine and as it happens it hasn't gone flat again since being blown up, luckily she came away and didn't listen, there was also another girl in there with a flat tyre also told she needed all new tyres, seems the new people are targeting women, and this is not the first review on here about women, i know it happens a lot but its not right and the situation my daughter was put in didn't sit right with me, so that's why i am leaving this review, i expect the same reply the other people have had, but not interested, just want people to be aware of what's going on,

   I've recently bought a runaround and it had a couple of advisories on the suspension from the previous MOT, and I've started getting some slight steering knocking noises, plus the steering was at an angle to drive straight. Protyre being down the road having the facilities to carry out an alignment was a plus, and having a free steering inspection check they've been thorough with what they've found. The only slight odd note was that they didn't mention about the boots perishing on the shock absorbers. I found this out when I jacked the car up myself later at the weekend to check what needed replacing. Quick and friendly service though, cheers!

   My 81-year-old mum went here simply to have her tyres inflated. She was asked to wait in the waiting room, and after 15 minutes was told she “needed” 4 new tyres at a cost of over £500 due to supposed cracks in the tyre walls. Thankfully, she declined and spoke to me. We then took the car to another garage for a second opinion, who confirmed the tyres were perfectly safe and did not need replacing. This experience has left us very disappointed. It felt like an attempt to take advantage of an elderly customer. We won’t be returning and would advise others to be cautious.

   Brilliant service. I’m a new driver (recently passed) and my car needed some new tyres. I was so nervous as a young girl to go to any garage (as I know they rip you off). BUT here it wasn’t the case, they did great work and were friendly and welcoming. Defo a safe place to get your car sorted out ladies!

   Went into Walkers at Wigston yesterday for what I thought was an exhaust problem on one of our cars. It proved to be ok. Very impressed with the Staff and in particular the Manager. I asked about a TPMS issue on another vehicle. I returned today and had a new sensor fitted. Problem solved. Got to say I shall be taking all of our vehicles there in the future. Thanks very much.
