    I had a dash cam fitted by Halfords on Abbey Lane which caused an electrical fault on my van. It was then sent to Halfords Tigers Way to repair the damage. Bruce spent 2 days working on my van and said he had repaired the faults. I picked my van up and on the way home I realised some of the faults were still there and additional faults had been caused. They were closed when I got home so I contacted them the next morning only to be told Bruce was on holiday for a few weeks and he was the only one who could work on it. It has since been repaired by a Ford main dealer. I would warn anyone against using this garage, I certainly won't use Halfords again.

    Super friendly and welcoming staff. Even though they were very busy they got the job done quickly and provided realistic time frames and explanation of the work. Very positive experience and I’ll definitely use the service again based on this. Thank you!

    Stay away if you value your peace of mind. MOT with 2 tyres change took 3 days. No communication whatsoever regarding timelines. After several calls I collected my car late on a Friday evening (as instructed) when I could not see the severe damage that had been caused to the wheel trims during repairs. They did not accept responsibility when I got back to them after the weekend. They are clearly well trained to deceive their customers.     I had a scheduled MOT appointment for 16:00, and to make sure I arrived on time, I turned up 18 minutes early. Instead of going straight to reception, I asked a member of staff inside the workshop where I should check in. I was told they would confirm and get back to me, so I waited exactly as instructed. Despite being clearly on site long before my appointment, my booking was then cancelled without warning. I was told I was five minutes late, even though I had already been acknowledged by their staff and was only waiting based on the instructions they gave me. Their argument was simply that I didn’t physically go to reception immediately, even though I had followed the guidance of their own employee. Not a single apology was offered for the wasted time, the confusion, or the poor communication. No responsibility was taken for staff error, and no effort was made to resolve the situation professionally. This experience demonstrated disorganisation, a complete lack of customer respect, and zero willingness to be accountable for their own mistakes. If something as basic as customer check-in cannot be handled correctly, it raises serious concerns about how they manage their workflow, vehicle care, and the standards of work carried out in their workshop.

    Bought a battery off them last week and sat waiting which have me a chance to see the mixed heritage guy behind the counter dealing with customers. What a credit to the company. Was patient, explained things clearly and slowly to his customers. When it was my turn he was great. I'm not a total idiot when it comes to cars and i was impressed with his knowledge and again patience. If I'm in the area again and need stuff doing i know where to go. Top man!

    Got a full service, never used a Halfords garage before and never had a service before. Staff were very friendly and helpful and told me I needed a new exhaust which they fitted extremely quickly (couple of hours) and now my car is running amazing!!! Thank you all

    Sean the manager is a legend, he was super helpful and down to earth. He didn’t have to, but helped me out of a sticky situation where my car wouldn’t lock. Highly recommend!

    Sean the manager is amazing fitted me in in a day great price and service. Other garages three times more expensive and 1 week to repair my car. Amazing customer service and top garage. Also he does not do more work than what is needed. He got a customer for life. Greatest experience ever. Very serious and caring team. Sean is a top professional and knows what he is doing.

    My wife booked her car in for a major service and MOT. She dropped her car off and was advised her car would be ready at approximately 5.30pm. There had been an internal miscommunication which resulted in her being contacted by a member of staff after 2.15pm advising her vehicle was ready for collection. Although my wife had confirmed on the phone if the MOT and Service had been done, and the receptionist advised this was correct, this was not the case. We were en route to collect her car based on the call with the receptionist, and were very disappointed to receive a further call at 2.50pm from the receptionist advising an error had been made and the car was not ready for collection. We were 5minutes away from the garage at this point and wasted 40minutes travelling due to this in total. We then called Halfords to query when the car would be ready for collection and were advised to come at 6pm, when the garage closes. We arrived at the garage at 5.55pm and then waited for 40 minutes at the garage before the car was ready at 6.35pm. Although my wife was given a 10% discount, the overall service was unsatisfactory.
