Helpful and prompt repair service arranged through my insurer. Courtesy car provided was satisfactory and pick up arrangements went smoothly. Costs charged were higher than if I had had the work done by a local mechanic, but I did have the courtesy car for nearly a week and you expect costs to be higher when the work is done through the insurer.
Collected my car yesterday and had to wait while it was valeted, its looked better than when I bought it the ladies in reception were very bubbly and you could see they enjoyed being there very enjoyable visit and service from my incident in my car

Brilliant from Start to finish at such a stressful time after the collision. From dealing with Zoe on the main reception to communicating movements with the team and Lee. Car was fully cleaned after too - Perfect service all round.
top repair job but have absolutely took the mick by claiming for parts which were not put on the car. claimed they valeted the car but returned with water marks all over. had also given me 4 estimate completion dates in which dates were all postponed. site manager Dave extremely rude to myself and family members with his remarks and sarcastic comments to the point where i could not deal with the mental stress of it. Repair job was good however customer service skills are HORRENDOUS. safe to say I will be raising this with the director of Steer. UPDATE: Was handed the car back with a rattle that I was told was not related to my accident. had 2 mechanics from Steer tell me this and when I got it checked independently, it was an exhaust heat shield that was not screwed properly causing the rattle. This makes sense as my exhaust was replaced by Steer who clearly have now been caught out that they had failed to screw in the shield and had claimed it was the 'driveshaft or differential and would need stripping down to find the cause'. The stress and anxiety caused by Steer is something else... UPDATE 2: Resolved by Lee from Steer - Thanks Lee for your swift responses
Steer Automotive did a really good job of fixing my car after a recent collision. All parts were replaced or repaired like new, and the paintwork - one of the trendy new 'candy' colours - is a perfect match. I had a query about a bit of overspray which they fixed very quickly, and now that I have my car back I am very satisfied with their attention to detail, and I would specially mention the customer service as very professional, with regular updates which give the process a real personal touch.
