   Booked for MOT and Service and I asked for the brakes to be done and new wiper blades. Car came back with advisories. Brakes!! They said they didn’t need doing why is it an advisory then? Corrosion on subframe. They do a coating which costs £100 and about the same for labour. It comes in an aerosol cost around £10. I get an independent mechanic to check it and there’s too much oil in my car. No point complaining. So they either have issues with overbooking or they need more staff. No using them again.

   I just know talking to the technicians that these guys know what they are doing. Very helpful keeping you updated etc. I could have taken my car to two or three other garages closer to home. But quite happy to walk the 40 minutes to collect from this garage because they are reputable and trustworthy

   After having 3 family cars in there recently, being overcharged, things not picked up on, told things needed doing when it didn't, and my car in particular being left filthy, it's safe to say we won't be using this garage again ever! Normally they have been good, but this time around they have really let themselves down. Overcharged on my wife's car for stripping and cleaning the brakes, they didn't pick up on the fact they needed adjusting and her car failed it's mot. Luckily the garage that did the mot didn't charge her for adjusting them once we said how much money was spent less than 3 weeks previously here. My car was covered in oil and grease all over the seat belt and steering wheel which I've been unable to clean properly, I've had to buy a steering wheel cover and had a new coat wrecked as a result. Bulbs replaced when I didn't ask for them as I had my own bulbs and was aware, and all I got was a "sorry". Granted, I took my bulbs in and got a refund but it's not the point. Very poor, certainly won't be going back!

   Got back off holiday and heard my brake pads/discs scraping really bad, called the guys up and they got me seen and sorted same day even though they were super busy! Reliable service but I was quoted £150-200 then got a bill for £253 which was far more than I was quoted as other places but never the less, guys were friendly and got the job done!

   I'm new in the area and I was looking for a garage with good reviews. I am very pleased that I have found such a good place and I will definitely use their services in the future. Because of my self-isolation, I couldn't leave my house. My car was picked up and taken for the MOT. In the morning I got a call from the Lady that there were two things to replace, license plates and a bulb. Shei gave me the price of the repair . In the afternoon I got my car back.I am so pleased that I would give 7 stars if I could.

   Best local garage around, always fair and they keep you informed. I've been using Main Street Garage for a number of years. They may not be the cheapest (they're not expensive though either!) however, I happily keep going back as I trust them 100% and they'd never try and do work that doesn't need doing to get extra money out of you. I'll keep going for years to come. Keep up the great work team!
