   My Seat Leon 2013 automatic broke down due to a gearbox fault that put the car into limp mode. The issue turned out to be the pressure casing, which needed replacing. I left my car with the mechanic around 2–3 weeks ago, and I was genuinely pleased with how quickly such a major repair was completed. The car has been running perfectly since, and from a mechanical point of view, I’m happy with the work carried out. Unfortunately, I’ve given a low rating because of an issue unrelated to the repair itself. When I got my car back, I noticed that items in my boot had clearly been gone through, and an air freshener was missing. The bags that were opened only contained children’s football kits, and thankfully there was nothing valuable in the car. Even though it was a small item, it’s disappointing and upsetting to feel that trust was breached. This is a shame because I was otherwise satisfied with the service and the repair work. I would still recommend this mechanic for car repairs, but I would strongly advise anyone to remove personal belongings from their vehicle beforehand, regardless of value. I haven’t contacted the mechanic directly about this issue, but I felt it was important to leave an honest and balanced review based on my experience. For clarity, should the mechanic claim they did not provide me with this service, I have an invoice to confirm otherwise.

   I took my Audi in for a gearbox service but it needed more work as they found an internal part had failed (which would explain the rough gearchanges that i was experiencing) Lucasz and Greg were very knowledgeable and polite. I can't recommend them highly enough. if you have a problem with your VAG car's automatic gearbox, give these guys a call.

Got my DSG clutch sorted on my Audi with no fuss. I’ve found my go-to mechanic. Highly recommend if you’ve got German gearbox, fly wheel or clutch issues in leicester!

   Developed a misfire on my 1.4 TSI, compression test showed low compression in one of the cylinders. Spoke to numerous companies across the UK but Car2Code gave me the confidence to send the car to them. Very professional, kept me up to date throughout and very reasonably priced.
