   It was an MOT. Managed to fit me in at the last moment. No long list of stuff to do. Identified tyres that were close to the wear limit, but didn't try to push their own replacement of them; in fact they said that they wouldn't be competitive as they didn't have the volume compared with others. Came across as honest, upstanding, trying to be helpful, and did a great job.

   Figured I'd try a local garage and support local business - £150 for an exhaust flexi (£30 max for the part) fitted. It's 2 bolts, 4 if you count taking off the old one. No invoice provided for the work completed either, I was hoping to see how they'd fluff £30 to £150. First and last job they'll be doing for me. Greedy.

   Rude. Have used this garage for many years and have always had good service, so disappointed this morning when I had to cancel (all be it) at the last minute due to an issue with my car that we wanted to sort before having it's MOT. Felt very bad cancelling at short notice and apologised only to be met with a very curt reply. You have now lost a loyal customer.
