I purchased a Groupon package. Pros: Bargain price. The massage was of decent pressure. The facial products smelled lovely and haven't caused any irritation. I wasn't hurried during or between the treatments. I was able to park for free just a few metres away. Cons: The building is in a state of disrepair and it should be cleared, fixed and redecorated. It also desperately needs a blooming good scrub. I almost left partway through my treatments, but I don't know when I'll get time to take an afternoon for myself again, so I thought it couldn't much hurt to see it through. The room was harshly spotlighted, too cool and far too bright to be relaxing. People were knocking on the door and at one point also entering. There was no calming music or atmosphere; it was rather like being in a store room that they'd squeezed a bed in. Staff all had their phones on them; it's hard to chill out with text alerts going off, never mind the manicurist weilding tools & still taking a call. Inexplicably, the manicurist remarked that my right hand needed special attention. I'm left handed, so if there's an issue with any hand, it's that one. She continued to unnecessarily cut two of my nails considerably shorter than all the others. Granted, my nails are thinning (menopause), but these two nails were in a similar condition to the 8 she didn't hack away. I knew she'd messed up, but it wasn't until I scarpered that I realised how poorly it'd been finished. Luckily, I don't care much; they're just nails and they'll grow. But for the purposes of a review, this is an honest and fair account. I don't think the staff were terribly rude, but it's the least professional salon I've visited and I wouldn't go back.
Excellent service by both members of staff on the day. They made me feel comfortable and managed to book me in as it was a walk in. They were so understanding of my anxiety and worries, as I suffer from hair loss. The lady explained each process with the scalp treatment she explained each step and made me feel comfortable. I had a head massage and scalp treatment with a wash and dry and trim.As a result of the treatment my hair feels so much healthier and stronger.I will definitely be going back to this salon, excellent service overall.

The lady who runs this business and did my treatment was gentle,kind, informative and a perfectly professional person. I will definitely be going again and highly recommend anyone considering going to her to do so .
I wish I’d done this years ago! I’m about half way through my treatments with Urooj's and the difference is already so life changing. The hairs are either gone already, or so much finer. The staff and the owner are so kind, warm and friendly. The sessions are quick, and in my opinion, really minimal discomfort, not painful. I’ve research hair removal for years now, and felt skeptical after spending lots of money on an at home machine that was rubbish. But I’ve been blown away with the results at Urooj's so far. Highly recommended. Keep it up!!
