   Drove from Wellington. Why. Because my ev van was booked into Autobliss worle. Got stuck on the blinking motorway again. Anyhoo!. Arrived 10 minutes late. Dropped off van and walked home. On the way home, as I walked, I found my legs had something wrong with them. They couldn't walk past the pub. So I walked under-duress . Straight up to the bar. 1 x Pint down the hatch. Now I don't remember the Bristol House in the old days when it was a local. I seem to remember it closed down? Was due to be turned into a Tescos express ? But there was a locals protest? Then it re-opened. Anyhoo again! It was very nice inside. Sport on TV etc. Got served straight away. Was only in there for 5 mins as I necked the pint in 4. The afternoon sun and temperature were merciless on the walk home. My jeans were clinging, and my boots were singing with my feet, bringing up the backing vocals. My head was sweating, and my undies were a' wetting. I was greatful for an ice-cold drink. Seems like a very nice pub.

   This was a nice spot for a drink on the outside of Weston, actually crossing into Avon county! The design is quite good with the style of the clock and a fireplace adding somewhat of an old feel, counter is nicely presented too. I had a pint of Thatcher's Cider at a reasonable price, enjoying the outside seating which was very well kept.

   Amazing prices, great beers. Very clean and fabulous black sparkly bar surface, generally a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately some of the people using this pub do not appreciate the fantastic value for money as this place is better than even Wetherspoons on beer, lager and cider prices, no one comes close to the Bristol house and yet despite being provided a great space outside with ashtrays to smoke and vape, they chuck their fag ends all over the place and it really is a mess. Staff are very hard working and on the rare occasions some people get loud they control situations well and it always feels safe.

   Brilliant local boozer- really clean all on one level - pool table - great friendly staff and quick service- there is an entrance at the rear with only a very small step - this should be much better for a wheelchair or those not so steady on their feet -
