Amazing atmosphere within the pub with awesome live events all across the season with an amazing selection of beers. Really fun place to be. And can’t wait to see what else she is able to do with the place after seeing such amazing past performance in The Black Lion and others

   The Albion in Penarth is everything you want from a proper local pub — cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It’s got that perfect mix of comfy corners for a quiet pint and a lively bar when you fancy some good company. A big part of its charm comes from the new landlady, Jen, who’s absolutely fantastic. Her warmth and enthusiasm have really brought the place to life, making everyone feel like a regular. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

   I love the way The Albion balances being a “going-out” place with being a place where locals can drop in, have a pint, talk, and feel at home. There’s a sense that the management cares: about the bands they host, about maintaining a good pub atmosphere, about making people feel welcome. If you’re after somewhere real — not overpolished, but with genuine character — this hit the spot.

   Best live music around, the occasional kidnapping and a partridge in a pear tree. A pubs a pub, but this is one of the last good ones. I cant speak for the food because I've never had it, but the atmosphere is always tidy, the managers a nice guy and its not far from other pubs, which is good if you wanna get totally lashed. Can't go wrong. 5 stars.
