    Had a lambda sensor replaced on my Honda after an RAC diagnostic. The repair seems fine and the warning light’s gone, but £310 felt high for what’s typically a one-hour job and a £60–£100 part. The invoice didn’t list the sensor brand, so unclear if it was genuine. Overall, work appears good but pricing is on the high side and parts transparency could be better

    really not fair attitude. By the phone I was given price and when they did the service they decided to add VAT on the top of than. They told me to bring the car in the morning and they told me clearly it will take not more than 1h but it tool 2h. I was not given any clear explanation , but I saw that they started 45 minutes after I gave then the car.

    This is the worst service center I have ever seen in the UK. They charges you more than anything. I have asked them for the price of my car full service about 4 times during the same day. They said they let me know everytime I asked but finally charged me directly after the service saying to £358. I had even asked them to look after my door mirrors as they were not working properly. But they didn't looked at anything. They don't care about what customer is complaining about the car. They simply want the money from customers. Worst service center. Felt like cheated. I don't recommend anyone to go to this service center until unless you have more money to loose.

    Second time I've used Lambsdon's, this time for an MOT and service, and some issues with steering and brakes. They charged me what they said they would for the MOT and service, and provided a quote for the other work. They also advised what didn't need to be done just yet, and what didn't need to be done at all. It's great to come across a garage that doesn't do work that doesn't need to be done and is honest about their advice. Would recommend and will definitely use again.

    Last year I asked on the reception to be flush and change the oil of automatic gearbox on Toyota Yaris. The lady said "Yes we can do it for 270£". Later I left my car and what was the surprise when I collected it? When I saw the oil in the automagic gearbox it was grey-black color. At that time I had the same model Toyota with automatic transmission. I showed to the supervisor the "red" colour oil from another my Toyota yaris and asked him "Why is different color the new oil". The new oil was worst then the old one of my other Toyota yaris!!! He asked the mechanic and realised that they didn't flush the oil. They don't understand from automatic gearboxes!!! Now 1 year later, I received offer from expert service of automatic gearboxes to be changed the oil on the same automatic transmission for 108 £!!! Lambsdon's Motor Services charged me 270£(162£ more one year earlier) and they don't understand from automatic transmissions!!!

    I have been going to lamsdons now for about 9 months last year i had a big problem with my van it was running poor with a fuel problem. they did a full clean threw from the tank to the injectors then changed the timming belt from the fule pump as the fule timming was out. then changed the thermostat and heater switch and the van has never ran better than it dose now. the other day i sprung a leek in the water pipe took it to lambsdons and they orderd me a new one from the main dealers unfortunately they do not do that part for my old van as it has been discontinued. Ho no i was in a wright panic as i would not have a clue where to get one from but they did but its imported and wont be here for a few weeks. But i need my van for my work as i do house removals i said to them just put some better tape than i have put on it and get me on the road. But they wernt having any of that rubbish they did a repair that i could not believe as im doing a lot of removals over the next few weeks they realy got me moved with all there help to keep me earning in this very difficult time . Dean was brilliant not letting my van leave the garage till he was perfectly satisfied. All of the staff have been great and also they gave me a lift home and dropped my van to my home. What a service you get with lamsdons

I was kept fully informed throughout by Lorraine and Thea who we’re always courteous and professional. The pre-collection valet was a nice touch too!     I've used this garage 3 times now for warranty work, major service and a battery test and swap. Paul and Zoe have brilliant attention to detail making sure you get exactly as requested from the brilliant workshop team. They order best parts where quality matters, they can handle additional paper work like warranty claims and test results with ease. Quotes normally reflect final price, cars always valeted on return. 7-530 opening makes drop offs and collection easy and they even offer pickup and delivery. Highly recommended.
