   Extremely Disappointed – A Distressing Experience After 40 years with the same hairdresser, I was in search of someone new and was recommended this salon as being highly regarded. I requested “white blonde” highlights and was prepared to give them a fair chance. What followed was nothing short of chaotic. The initial appointment lasted over four hours including two hours for foils, extended waiting periods—sometimes at the wash basin, sometimes told to wait on a couch if space allowed—and multiple washes and toner applications. Despite all this, I left with brassy, ginger-toned hair—not the white blonde I had clearly asked for. The stylist repeatedly asked if I wanted “silver” or “grey,” though I had been very specific. My fringe was especially bad—so poorly coloured it made me look unwell. Worse still, the process was rushed at the end due to my need to get home for a delivery. Two staff members dried my hair simultaneously, and I received a quick trim without time for proper finishing. At home, I noticed significant colour bleed and a patchy, brassy finish. I returned to the salon to express my concerns and was told I could have it corrected—but would be charged for a blow dry. I booked anyway, hoping for a better result. On the second visit, I showed the manager a photo of myself with the white blonde I wanted and explained that I had communicated this at my first appointment. (However, I now needed it to all blend in naturally). Unfortunately, this visit was another disaster: over two hours, with 90 minutes of that spent sitting at the wash basin. When they started drying my hair, I noticed strands falling out in clumps. As I ran my hands through it, even more came out. At that point, I had seen enough—I left, deeply upset. This experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. I’m now left with a fringe that is white but still has a yellow streak in it, while the back of my hair is a gingery blonde. Not even close to what I asked for. I cannot in good conscience recommend this salon to anyone seeking a professional service.

   Called Wednesday for an appointment for my daughter Reya for a change from her long black dull hair. Told Tanya what she wanted, sent a few pic's She booked her in for Friday! Tanya didn't disappointe 10/10, she smashed it. My daughter is so happy with her hair she loves it!! She had so many complaments about her hair. Tanya & staff went above and beyond for my Reya, she even got Reya a sandwich. Was worth the trip from Manchester.Great staff, great service, good price two . Trust me, you would not be disappointed.    Fantastic experience. First time at the salon and my daughter and I were well looked after by all the staff. They are very attentive and welcoming. The outcome was above my expectations. I am certainly going there again and recommend the salon without a shadow of a doubt. Fair pricing also.

   Rang for an appointment on Thursday for 2 dry cuts with Tanya. Despite struggling to add additional bookings to her day, Tanya went above and beyond and squeezed both my Mum & I in for Saturday. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile & offered a drink. The space is really modern inside and despite the cost of living crisis, there is no expense spared as it is so clear that Tanya genuinely cares about her customers & their experience. It was so nice that every customer that as every customer who walked through the door, Tanya greeted them with a smile & addressed them personally by their name. It was so clear that the girls who work at Million Hairs under Tanya's guidance have a great work ethic and have a brilliant role model who is positively influencing them. Both my Mum & I were really happy with our experience at Million Hairs. It is clear that Tanya is really knowledgeable and experienced in her skills as a professional, she's confident and I felt so valued as a client - really happy with my hair cut. Feels so much healthier. My Mum has visited a few times now and I shall definitely be returning. Some on street parking is available, however there is ample parking with 2 car parks that are extremely reasonably priced directly next to the premises.

   Started off brilliantly but gradually complacency set in. I always felt as though I was a hindrance. Trying to squeeze too many appointments in, meant that the service I received was always rushed. I felt as though I wasn't listened to, because they had already made up their mind what they were going to do. During my last three appointments, the colour was wrong, then during the next appointment it was noticed that my colour hadn't been put in correctly, so I had to go through the process again and now (my last appointment) my hair has been cut 1cm above my ear! So I have a big gap above my right ear. Also, if I can straighten my hair perfectly with my GHD's, then why can't a hairdresser! That was my last appointment! I'm fed up of leaving the hairdressers with something I don't want due to not being listened to.
