My experience of having some dental treatment with Nima he was first class. He explained everything in detail before doing anything. He has a very caring manner and style and was very reassuring. I didn't feel rushed and he was happy to answer any questions i had. Very impressed and i'm glad he is looking after me.
One of the worst clinics I have ever been to. I had developed abscess and instead of giving me medication or tackling the issue they advised unnecessary steps which ended up costing me around £400.00. The hygienist was the worst. Id strongly recommend looking for some one else. Exceptionally rude receptionist.
I've been a patient at Westgate Dental Practice for over 15 years. I've always had excellent treatment as a NHS patient. They restored my trust in dentists through patience, understanding and outstanding practice from the Dentists, nurses, hygienist and receptionists. Even through the pandemic they have been seeing patients for necessary treatment and have been efficient at limiting any possible exposure by patients and staff.
AVOID! They are reactive rather than preventative. I went in years ago asking to have my upper wisdom teeth removed because they grew in so close to where my jaws meet that they are not functional, difficult to clean and painful. The dentist I saw recognised this and agreed with me that they were useless but told me that she would not remove healthy teeth. Well congratulations, now my teeth are rotting despite me using a tiny brush (normal one cannot get around them as the gap between my jaw and tooth is too small) to clean them twice daily, because food gets trapped between them and my jaw join during the day. Never coming back here.
Have always been very happy at this practice. The organisation seems very efficent, and arrangements in the current COVID situation are meticulous. I had to have two broken teeth removed last week, which turned out to be a more protracted job than I had anticipated, but the dentist, Nima, and the nurse assisting him, were extremely professional and caring, particularly given the current difficult circumstances in which they have to work
All the staff are friendly, professional and efficient. If you have had a bad dentist experience previously then this is definitely the best dental practice for you. They put you at ease and help you through any worries. My husband and mother in law were scared of going to the dentist previously and now joining Westgate they feel comfortable and supported. My children also love going to the practice and see it as a fun trip rather than something to worry about.
