    Very difficult to find. When we got there it was a pokey set of workshops with limited parking and waiting. Hard to believe it was part of the big chain. Don't confuse with Halfords big shop in the retail park on the Eastern Distributor road. V disappointed didn't stay, just cancelled appointment.

    Always polite and accommodating every time I've used the Halfords Newport Autocentre. I've been using them 4+ years now and wouldn't trust my cars with any other garage. I travel from Cardiff. Keep up the good work guys!

    Absolutely disgusting, firstly they had seem to have thought my MOT was for 11 am I told them no definitely 11 50 am got there he just took keys said he had to get it in no explanation then I had a fail which was fine but literally about 20 things in total and these actually did my MOT last year with no problems. The tyres I purchased from there last October I was like how are they bald, I've added photos from another garage who just said they seemed to be trying to get extra work in as they use motoreasy to promote there business. I did contact them as I absolutely wanted my money back for another MOT but just fobbed off said I need to take it to dvsa so we will see how that goes.

    Very good from initial contact through to completion of the work. All carried out in a friendly and confident way and kept informed. As my vehicle had failed its MOT, they were happy to carry out the remedial work during the same day. I was also pleased they waived the retest fee……many thanks.

    Took my car here as aa said gearbox had gone when down on monday they said they would do tests even though they was told gear box like the aa stated then they was supose to do diagnostics on the weds phoned on the weds they then rold me it wasnt booked in till friday then when they had the car already nearly a week they then told me they dont do gear boxes so had to then pay to move my car too a gear box place yet why not tell me on the monday when i travelled all way by bus to see them that they dont do gearboxs when i was at garage instead of sayin it a few days later making me longer without a car which ive now had to rent car and the service was was done at same place a few weeks before didnt pick up the gearbox problem yet gearbox was badly damaged which i have been told should of been picked up during service in first place which took less than hour to fully service which if this had been picked up could of got it fixed before the gearbox completely when also when i commented ro the man in garage about the service takknf less than hour as booked in at 9 am had car back at 10 am he stated they do them quick cause they are busy also they told me my car had passed mot then said oh no sorry it was a service ?

    We would like to thank Halfords for their outstanding service performing a free brake check. The staff were very kind and friendly and helpful. They kindly informed me that the brake pads that had been changed by another garage were poor. They very kindly greased and sanded down my brakes. I am grateful for the great service provided and would highly recommend!

    Free Battery health check completed even before the appointment time , and battery replaced . The mechanic was excellent and the two guys in reception were an absolute pleasure to talk. Good old fashioned customer service. Thank you .

    Had my MOT booked, car wouldn't start on the day! Had a recovery truck take the car to them but they were delayed so I missed the slot on the day, however they managed to fit me in the next day and got my car started promptly. Friendly staff, super helpful. Would highly recommend.

    Took my car in for a last minute oil & filter change and wheel alignment, all staff were professional and honest, they did not have the oil and filter on site but they went out of their way to go and buy the items required despite the hassle, they advised my wheels were all fine after checking them, despite the time they spent to check the wheels I was still only charged for the oil and filter service, overall a pleasant experience and would use again

    Great customer service On arrival the assistant manager working behind the desk was superb in his greeting, behaviour, and customer support. Over the course if an hour I witnessed him great customers with an excellent manner. He also apologised for some slow returns of vehicles. He thanked staff members who were leaving who also went one step further. I felt this created a good team feel. One customer clearly had a big problem and I overheard the assistant manager offering to stay late and arrive to work early in order to help get the car back to her. Really impressive.
