   Not sure if the shop has changed hands recently, but while it's still a good shop to get all the bits and pieces you need, query the prices!! You can sadly be getting overcharged - £1.50 for 4 small screws!!! When I queried the price, I was told prices were being changed!! (it was 20p each as it turns out which is what it said on the tray). Went for some screws and nearly got screwed!!

   I don't want to give low stars as haven't actually been in yet ... doesn't seem fair but please update your opening times as I travelled 15 mins to come to you today and you were closed. It says open til 4pm on Sundays but you definitely weren't!

   My key broke off in my door lock so I went to this shop to get pliers to remove the key. The manager behind the counter advised me that he also did key cutting and that he could try to make a copy from the remains of the key. I returned with the broken key and he managed to make a copy but he did advise me how to remove the barrel if the key didn't work. The key works perfectly. Highly recommended store. Excellent service, professional and friendly and took a genuine interest in helping me. I would never use a chain shop after the service I received here today.

   Went into the store today for silicone sealer and silicone remover neither of them branded names and was charged £20. When googled I could have bought the same for £10. No breakdown on the receipt just said £20. Sorry but I won't be coming back.

   3x3 fence posts to paving sealant, light switches to buckets, everything is priced better than B&Q or Wickes. Friendly service and very well stocked, will always call a head just to be certain they have and rarely find they don't!
