   Please be very very careful when purchasing. I paid for my order and additional charges for ‘next day delivery’. No parcels were received and so I left it a week before contacting the customer services. I emailed them and rang them. I asked for an update/Tracking of items I received a basic reply of ‘I will check with the warehouse’ and then ‘you will receive them next week’. I asked for a definitive date given that I had paid additionally for next day delivery as they were for a gift but they did not provide one. As they have now breached their side of our contract and I have no way of tracking my order (even though I followed their online instructions to create an account!) I requested a full refund immediately. They have denied me this based on the grounds that the items have already been dispatched and said it cannot be done. My situation is ongoing and yet to be resolved! No parcels no refund and no way of tracking my items. The only reason I have my order number and dispatch number is because I photographed the transaction. A very unpleasant experience.

   I will be honest, not had a problem at all when dealing with Ironmongery World. I was looking to replace the 17 handles on my wardrobes as some had developed faults after 15 years of use. After much searching, I came across this company, and they had in stock a large retro ring pull handle antique brass. I ordered one which was delivered the very next day by DX. The item was a perfect match, so I ordered 16 more. These were also delivered the very next day. All in all, based on my own experience, I would highly recommend this company.

   Bought goods twice here now - today some lovely shelf brackets. An amazing number and variety of items available- you’ll find what you need here. I’ve always found the staff go out of their way to help you and are very approachable and friendly. Especially the women in the accounts office. Thank-you ladies!

   DO NOT USE These are a total scam, no goods received and no refund issued despite numerous calls, emails and a open dispute with PayPal. You have been warned. Keep on scrolling and find a better more reputable company

   The screws supplied with all your iron items are very cheap and nasty, had multiple break instead the timber even when fastening to soft pine. The pilot holes were more than large enough.

   Ordered a knocker for next day delivery on Monday. Was given a tracking number that didn’t exist and on Wednesday at 430 I called to check on the order to find out it hadn’t been posted and they didn’t even have the item. Terrible

   The ‘antique cast iron spear with curls 14” hinges & 7” latch in antique iron finish’ are extremely good quality. They are heavy duty and my builder was very impressed. Because they are going on an outdoor gate I will treat them first as advised. Dealing with Ironmongery World was easy as they responded quickly to me, & delivery was swift. I would happily recommend them.

   Purchased 2 cast iron corbels to support oak beam over the fireplace. Delivery was slightly longer than suggested but given our circumstances can't grumble. Corbels are rustic and fantastic. Should come with screw fixings - some missing, but had suitable replacements at home. Overall delighted with the corbels that finish the fireplace brilliantly.
