   I've been thinking for a while whether or not to post a review. We needed a section of very poor condition concrete replacing on our sloping drive. We got a few quotes and most were similar in price but we liked Aslat's flyer that we'd received and how he came across when he attended to measure up etc. We asked about how long it would take and were told about a week but weather dependent. It did rain a lot just after the concrete was stripped but then there were further delays for non-weather related reasons. The guy doing the actual work reassured us about making the finish really neat but we were disappointed with the final touches. We received the invoice quickly enough and had to respond with a snagging list. The points raised were mostly corrected by another member of the team. The work was started in early September and finally finished at the back end of October! We were hoping to engage Aslat for other works listed in their range of services, but will be looking elsewhere and wouldn't recommend them, I'm afraid.

   Had work done in the past by Aslat and just recently had my roof done and tiles replaced above a bay window. Noticed some wood under my bay windows needed replacing contacted the owner next day came out and replaced with pvc checked my guttering that I thought was leaking and also wiped some dirt off my guttering. Always polite turn up on time and help wherever possible would definitely recommend them and also my neighbours have commented how good their work is thank you so much

   The good: - The job itself wasn't too delayed, i.e. it was completed within a month of our expected date. - The pointing itself was done to quite a good standard. The bad: - Poor communication from pointer themselves, and never called or texted before turning up, one point even turning up without us knowing (he was quite a nice guy when he arrived though). - Owner was very rude to me after asking his pointer to come back and touch up/finish the job, blaming me for his busy work schedule, and accusing me of avoiding payment. - Pointer tore off hanging basket bracket and threw it down the alley next to our house. When he put it back, he attached it to our house wonky, not bothering to take five seconds to check it was straight.
