   Just been to B&Q Shroggs Lane Halifax absolutely appalling service. Needed assistance with wallpaper. No customer service counter desk so asked at checkout was told to go to paint desk nobody there, pressed button received recorded message to say assistant knows I'm waiting after eight messages I gave up. Checkout didn't give a toss. My last visit!!!

   'You can do it when you B&Q it' You certainly can at the Halifax store. Well organised plenty of parking and the staff are fantastic. Many a hour on a Sunday afternoon spent with my partner just looking at tools, his favorite passtime whilst I plan for the next home renovation project its a win, win.

   My brother went down to have a browse at flowers for our father whos gardening at the minute. He was made to leave because he had dark glasses ("looked suspicious ")on and had been in for an hour, absolutely disgusting how he was treated all because he had prescription glasses that went dark on and was taking awhile, the "security" there was rude, was in plain clothes asking for id which my brother thought was a crazy person at the time turns out he did work there, but was very rude to him when asked what his name was he stated Jo King, trying to be sarcastic (unprofessional and rude) absolute joke and nasty behaviour

   We came in on Saturday morning to look for some floor paint. Unsure of what we actually needed we went to the mixing section and spoke with a young lad called George who was absolutely brilliant, he helped us choose the correct paint and explained the benefits of each one. Brilliant knowledge and service.

   I usually find I visit B&Q Halifax Shroggs road A few times a month for my bits and bobs for a bit of timber , screws etc . I never leave empty handed that’s a fact . I’ve always found what I’ve needed . The staff are always very helpful when you get hold of one . One big criticism I have is at the paint desk , you can stand there a long time, then you go in search off a staff member which isn’t easy when you’ve got mobility issues. It would make life a lot easier and make sense if there were a Button on the Paint desk to notify customer waiting at paint desk . Apart from that it’s a great store . Plus I do seem to get a lot of money off vouchers which is always a bonus .

   God its quiet, nice for me...building section can't be any further can it ftom tills!!! unless your trade, I have trade card zero saving unless you spend a grand bit pointless.. just had to push a load of cement bags miles to till... it used to be better, staff a bit more helpful.. they seemed quite miserable to be honest.. surprised its still open not the best location and it shows with other retail shops on that site shut!!! shame it should be busy.. its not.. surely not enough foot fall to sustain that size of site, great carpark!!! Nice and shiny black and near empty...

   After the good service of Leroy yesterday the lady that gave us the 52pounds made up paint of ganymede today wasn't very nice and probably didnt close the tin lid right and when i braked to avoid a woman pedestrian who had run into the road the can tipped all over my car.

   Huge store. This was our first visit to this particular store. It was a very quiet day and not many customers or even cars in the car park so it was good for us to have a good look around. However what we wanted was in short supply so we will go back when restocked for Spring. Very clean up to date store. Staff helpful.

   I would like to say that my experience wasn’t a good one.the staff were not helpful n rude n were no help. However Sarah was there n she was extremely helpful n was like a personal shopper n took us around to all the aisles with us to get what we needed.    The store is very good but recived gift vouchers as a Christmas gift, viewed web site made my choices and went to pay only to find unable to purchase items as they are not supplied by B&q but a third party supplier? So checked items and found out of fiveteen items only six were available to purchase with gift cards? This seems wrong to me cash was spent to buy gift cards then you are limited as to what you can purchase. Most items you are allowed to purchase are more expensive??? Next time ask for cash if people are willing to give you money towards tools or equipment then you can shop anywhere and even direct to the third partys that B&q use and sometimes cheaper.
