   Really good experience today with Amani. Was able to be seen for a walk in cut very quickly. Amani was very good and put my at ease. Going hairdressers for me has not always been a great experience. But I was assured that what I was doing was right and that Amani could help with a cut that would show off my natural curls. Once home my curls pinged straight up with some conditioning spray! Very happy and will be returning. Thankyou

   had booked an appointment over the phone and explained i wanted to get rid of a lot of length. I was told a price after asking and was booked in with Phil. Sadly, upon arriving and explaining i wanted to go shorter and have long layers, i was told the price would increase, despite having explained the exact same thing on the phone and agreeing to a price. I also wanted reassurance that the length i asked for would be the length i have when my hair is dry, not wet, to which Phil rudely replied ‘i’ve been a hairdresser for 13 years i know what im doing’. He then commented that any previous hairdressers ive been to must be ‘crap’ instead of providing reassurance and comfort when i was clearly worried. Ironically, he cut my hair shorter than i asked for and gave me incredibly short choppy layers that don’t blend into my hair when I specifically asked for long layers. He disguised this by curling my hair so I wouldn’t be able to tell until i washed my hair at home. Really disappointed with the attitude and service i received here, will not be going back.

   My 1st visit to the salon was super. Place was clean and welcoming. My hairdresser was Karen. She was lovely and friendly. I instantly felt relaxed. We spoke about what I wanted and she made it happen. My hair was perfect and how I wanted it. I will be back and I recommend Redmill Hair Leicester to my friends. Thank you Karen for your time. I love my hair ☺️

   I went there for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, I had read previous reviews regarding lack of Covid safety measures; this was not my experience at all and in the whole time I was there, all staff kept their mask and visors on and kept as distant as practicable from customers and each other. I had only made my booking online this morning and so had opted for Arron as he was the only hairdresser available. I should add that I was long overdue a haircut: with my last hair cut being over a year ago; but have struggled to find someone who does a good job of cutting my thick, long and slightly frizzy hair following my hairdresser of past, emigrating to the states) Arron was friendly and attentive and took on board what I wanted. I walked out an hour later absolutely delighted at the fantastic job he had done... and for once booking a return appointment because I was so pleased with the job he had done! I also had brief interactions with other staff and must say that everyone was friendly and pleasant that I encountered... who knew my last minute appointment for a quick wash cut and blow dry would lead me to such a great hairdresser!!!! :)

   I had mine and my 4 year old daughters hair cut and dyed mine not my daughters lol here on Saturday with the lovely zoe. Amazing service friendly staff and lovely not over crowded with people I will always go here and ask for zoe
