Had an amazing experience at Elan Hair of Rothley this evening, the lovely Rhiannon did an absolutely amazing job with my hair, I walked away feeling very pleased with it and would recommend the salon to anyone! I have very long, thick hair which takes hours to foil yet Rhiannon was extremely consistent and took time to make sure it was perfect! Thankyou again for great service and great hair!
The worst service.. They missed the colour and burnt my healthy hair which had to be cut from waist length to above shoulders. I asked them if they could remove box dye to bring the hair back to its natural colour. It was a few shades darker and I wanted it lightened. They offered bleach bath followed by colour, which seems like a logical solution. The person who did the bleach bath likely left it too long and the hair became very very ginger. I did not mention anything as this was only half of the process. Long story short the dye they picked to match my natural hair was WAY off. It was as dark as the dye I wanted to get rid off but this time more ginger and much munch dryer and broken than it originally was. When I told them that I my original ask was to make it match my natural colour they dismissed it saying its the same, and if not that I need to wait until the colour washes out a bit. I had a rough day so I just decided to let it go, paid and left. I went home and checked it in the mirror using window as a light source and realised that they had done a terrible job with it. I ended up having to cut off my waist high hair in a different salon. I did go again to explain that they had not done anything but damage the hair more and give it ginger tint but the manager completely dismissed everything I said. Worst part was that they were so denying but everyone else around me has asked me why my ends were darker and more red than my natural colour.. Again, genuinely had never had such a bad experience hence I decided to leave this review.
Fab cut and colour from Lorraine. Felt completely comfortable in the salon, all precautions in place for Covid 19. Left feeling myself again with gorgeous hair and after the most relaxing hair wash I’ve ever had, almost fell asleep!
