   Rang up for a 22mm nut, 1.5mm pitch thread, girl on the phone was completley useless, couldnt even get her head round what i was wanting and wouldnt help in any way, couldnt be more unhelpful

   Things just haven’t been the same since Tye left — he was always genuinely helpful and easy to deal with. The new staff talk down to you and don’t make you feel welcome. I won’t be coming back.

   Great shop for fixings and similar hardware, also carry an extensive range of mechanical/engineering tools, welding, grinding, drilling etc... Prices are in my opinion, reasonable. Often have to wait a little while to get served but this is inherent of each order being carefully picked by the staff upon your request. Will definitely be using again.

   Most expensive nut and bolt "specialist" iv ever been to. £608 plus vat for what you can buy anywhere else for less that £250 plus vat. £16 plus vat for resin which you can buy anywhere else including screwfix (known to be expensive) for £5. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

   I try to avoid this place as much as possible. Last time I went there was a few years ago and I had the misfortune to go there again today. The prices are high, but they are very good for locating obscure fittings and to get you out of a fix. That's not the problem. The problem is their customer service. Their customer service is awful. They make you feel like they don't want you there. In particular, the main culprit is the guy who has Karen tattooed on his arm. He served me a few years ago and he served me today. Both times he was absolutely rude, ignorant, and talked down to me. If it wasn't for their lack of customer service I would use them a lot more and instruct my staff to use them. But as it stands I would rather spend my money some place else. People who don't like customer service jobs should not work in customer service!
