   Storefront “GARY” racially profiled me as soon as I walked in. I had just came from Friday prayers and was in my special attire and he sniggered and put on an “Asian” accent while dealing with me. Honestly baffled as this is meant to be the city of culture, also caught an employee “vaping” on site indoors. Fix this.

   It is the worst toolstation place they are very bad customer service. I did try to return cable but they refused so I took it to bowling back line toolstation so they took it and they give me money back and today i just return some blaming items and they refused so i am going to bowling back line and i am sure they will take it back so i thought to give very bad feedback so who is responsible will know about it and for everyone to not buy or return to Thornton raod toolstation bradford. Note: the tems are for today they are always has bad customer service. Thanks.

   ⚠️ Traders Beware ⚠️ I placed an order for 7 items last Friday. Some weren’t available for immediate collection but were due in the next day. I left it a few days and went in on Tuesday to collect everything. At the counter, I was met by someone who introduced himself only as “Gary” and claimed to be the manager. I gave him my order details, and he first brought out just one item. I pointed out there should be more, so he went back and returned with three more. Still incomplete. After another trip, he returned with two further items. That still left part of my order missing. I reminded him I had paid for all 7 items, but he insisted there was nothing else there. After looking at the order again, he admitted a major item was missing and offered to order it for the next day. By this point, I was understandably frustrated. His response was: “What do you want me to do about it?” When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed he was the manager and dismissed my concerns with “so what.” For tradespeople, this kind of service is unacceptable. We order days in advance to avoid wasted journeys, not to be messed around. Instead of any professionalism, I was met with a shrug. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, Gary threw my items across the counter, told me I wouldn’t be getting a refund for the missing item I had already paid for, and said he was calling the police. This happened at 16:35 on 30/09/2025 at the Bradford Thornton Road branch. Management should review the CCTV and take action. Behaviour like this—delays, rudeness, and possible dishonesty—will drive customers away. I won’t be returning to Toolstation again. With Screwfix just a minute away, it’s clear where I’ll be taking my business in future.

   Went in for a click and collect order. Had one question about one of the products and asked the girl if she knew anything about it, and she said no, which was fair enough. I asked if anybody else in branch knew and before I finished my question she said no. As a regular customer I expect a bit more politeness if nothing else. Clearly some of the staff do provide a good service based on other reviews.
