Given the choice of supermarkets in the Calder Valley, this is your best bet. Tesco at King Cross or Asda at Pellon are always, consistently awful. (I stopped using Asda because its just horrible) This Tesco is never too busy and is well stocked. Staff are great, parking is easy, there's no fast food delivery drivers blocking the entrance and it's overall, a much nicer experience.
It’s your standard super market experience. Most of what you generally need is there. You might pay more than other local supermarkets but it’s nearly always fully stocked.
Awful move to shut the checkouts with staff and move predominantly to self service. More ques now. Tesco yet again making more profit for less customer service.
Counted 7 members of staff stood talking or staring at a computer station whilst we queued at least 4 waiting at each check out. The basket self service also had a long queue and the trolly self service was closed. So sorry standards are consistently dropping. Staff on check outs well trained and polite
Close to the bus and train service, average stock, clean. I had issues with parking and long wait.
Avoid, full of kids throwing sweets around and swearing, No security so none of the staff can do anything. Massive let down for a big tesco store.
Absolutely disgusting customer service at the self checkout on several occasions, but namely on 09/11/22 at around 6.30pm. The woman was so rude and clearly hates customers and has no knowledge of customer service. I have sent a complaint through as well and will never shop here again! I heard her being rude to another customer during my short time there too! The store is also very overpriced and some kids were throwing with trolleys outside endangering customers whilst the staff/ security doesn’t do anything about it! A joke of a place.
