After nearly 8 years away, my visit to Bauhaus did not disappoint! Teigan did an amazing colour and Natalia a stylish cut. I will be back if I visit Cardiff again :-)
After having a wonderful experience with the Creative Stylist Tom in October ‘24, I was excited to return and get a similar treatment. As a young man I’ve never really paid more than £20-30 per haircut however I was wanting to grow my hair out and have it cut professionally by a salon. Tom delivered and advised me to come back after it’d grown some. I excitedly booked an appointment a week ahead, where I was told I was unable to book with Tom as he was off however the opener was available for a higher rate. I’d already paid £55 for a haircut previously but this one would cost me £62, which I agreed to. Fast forward to today where upon entering the salon 10 minutes before my appointment I was informed there may be a slight wait by the receptionist. I agreed to wait before seeing the owner who is charging £60+ for a basic cut who is mid way through a haircut shout over that “he’d just been on break and that it’ll take an hour”. I was a little taken aback by both his professionalism or lack there of and also the casual attitude of my time that had been wasted. Not a phone call from the receptionist to inform me of the delay or even an apology from the OWNER of the business who was set to cut my hair. I’m absolutely appalled and really disappointed. It turns out that paying a lot of money for a haircut doesn’t mean that it’s going to get you a good service
Family recommendation in summer, had a fantastic cut by Scott. Great technician, lovely guy VERY happy with my cut. Will be going back soon when I visit Cardiff again. Well worth the wait to get a cut by a true professional.
I am very happy with my haircut and overall experience with Jade. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, consulted with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the length and style. I will definitely visit again. :)
Always amazing experience at Bauhaus - staff is so nice and welcoming ! After moving from UAE, i tried few salons and finally found Tiegan - the best hair colourist in Cardiff! my hair is black Asian hair, it is very hard to get a perfect ash brown and highlights, but Tiegan does it every single time - she just gives you that dream hair!! Absolutely talented! I always get complimented on my hair. Cherry on top, she is an amazing person, so much fun to talk to ☺️ it’s been more than 4 years I have been visiting this salon, and always had a great experience. I would highly recommended!!
I’ve been super happy every time I leave the salon. I’ve had a range of services from a balayage, going pink and also platinum blonde. My hair always feels amazing afterwards and Lucy and Sarah especially have always been so accommodating.
Have just left the salon feeling a million dollars!! I am over the moon with how healthy and amazing my hair looks. After 18 months of box dye and DIY haircuts during lockdown, I never imagined my hair to look and feel this amazing after only a few months!! Huge thanks to Lucy who has transformed my hair from looking thin and wispy, to looking andffeeling so thick and healthy. She is amazing!! I am so glad I listened to what she suggested!! I won’t ever go anywhere else.
I have been to this salon a few time now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Everyone is so lovely and welcoming! I always leave so much happier than when I arrived and that’s not just because of an amazing haircut! They make you feel like part of their family. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
Had my hair cut on Tuesday. Matthew is brilliant and helped me understand my hair type and suggested going for something that would enhance my natural curl. I love it! I've been coming here for a while now, I like that I have a regular hair stylist and the rest of the team are really lovely too, I've had fringe trim top ups in between my main restyles and they will always find you a spot to get it sorted.
