   I was in the yard loading up the van and there was a silver van came in regerstration number x22bhp instead of going the right way round the yard came through the wrong way and could of hit me or my van if nothing is done bout it I will be going head office bout it this is nothing to do with staff it they should of told the van driver not to come through the wrong way thanks

   Have used this branch several times over the last few years whilst carrying out home renovations, most recently today (October 2024). Depending on who I've dealt with the pricing can range from VERY competitive to VERY expensive. Bearing in mind I'm based about 100 yards from the branch I've sometimes had better pricing for products from Huws Gray in Nuneaton which is 10+ miles away. Crazy! That being said today's purchase was cheaper than I was expecting (appreciated) and the guy in the yard had an excellent demeanor about him. The lorry driver they have based at the branch has always been super helpful too so credit to him.

   I've used this place a few times now and always going their prices very good, the selection is veried and they will likely have what you need. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and always happy to help where they can. I would recommend this place over your average diy shop any day.

   Just off A47 ignore sat nav and do not go through Barwell. This is a no go for trucks. Buildbase is on the main street very narrow and lots of cars no space. Entrance to site is tight and tricky take your time. It's a good tip covid aware very small yard. Place I would not rush back to ha ha.

   I'm pleased somebody found knowledgeable staff. I was hoping to use this company for my current building works but if they cannot even supply a toilet cistern after 2 months and say they have not received the order because the orders and emails go to somebody who has left...... The staff in the shop were not interested, had not answered telephone calls or emails as they are 'too busy' (the store was empty). Never been my favourite builders merchant but this really was the pits. I won't be back.

   Just noticed poor reviews - couldn't disagree more, not ordered yet but been & bothered Keith in yard 3 times so far trying to match up garden gravel, he has been great letting me take samples etc. I will definately be using them !
