   I have been bringing my children to Tong Grasshoppers since 2019 (not long after it opened inside) – first my eldest who is 7 and now my youngest who is 2, and have enjoyed bringing them to play and explore. I have many fond memories of bringing both my of them when they were babies and in quieter times pre-Covid etc. Overall, it is a great place to come– the children’s play frames and facilities are fantastic, the outdoor areas (especially in dry or warmer weather) are amazing, the café food and drinks are delicious and good variety and choice. It’s great to meet up there with friends and so on. The downside is, as with any establishment such as this, time has taken its toll and not been very kind to the equipment and everywhere is looking a bit mucky and unkempt. We visited yesterday morning for the first session of the day and there was still food and muck and grubby bits all over the floor under and around our table, then noticed across the rest of the floor everywhere. The toilets weren’t very pleasant – smelly and as if they hadn’t been cleaned from the day before. The prices are raising every time, the sessions are shorter (I assumed to allow more time to clean?), my children’s socks were black underneath after coming off the equipment - I’m not sure when it was last given a full clean over? The staff were great and always are thankfully, and reacted quickly to being told about a spill of a drink (I hope) inside the play frame, that my son had stood in. I’ve loved this place from nearly day dot, and I want to keep loving it, but also don’t want to be paying massively premium prices for a dirty play area and be charged the earth for a hot drink and toast.

   Best soft play indoor centre according to my three and five year old granddaughters, always their first choice. They enjoy face painting and feeding the fish after the session. Large soft play area and separate area for little ones under three. Staff always friendly and efficient. Consistently clean despite being busy. Good menu and food and drinks arrive after a short wait even in busy times. When I asked to swap a session my email was answered promptly and staff member Jen very helpful and accommodating.

   Yesterday was a great visit again as we do every year on the first day of the christmas school holidays with friends. It was as expected extremely busy-this did make it exceptionally hard to sit kids down to eat as no spare seats but we parents stood ao they could eat. Perhaps a little over full.

   Absolutely fabulous play centre for children. Lovely indoor and outdoor area with great variety of activities to suit all children. Great facilities inside including toilets and cafe where prices are reasonable. Picnic benches outside too for fine days. Very clean and immaculately presented. Staff were lovely, clearly enjoying their job and very helpful. Good pricing for what’s on offer. Highly recommend.

   One of the best play areas I have come across in West Yorkshire. Prices are very reasonable here. Indoor seating is modern and clean. Lots to do for kids including donkey rides at £3 per child. Located inside Tong Garden centre. Note gets very busy in peak times. Free parking.

   Baby loved it, was a little too busy for my preference but the range of safeplay available was brilliant. Great length of time included too, most places you feel as though you are sacrificing plag time if your baby/child needs to eat, however here you feel that you have plenty of time for both!

   Amazing!!! Did not have a clue there was this area in Tong garden centre!!! Had a great afternoon; kids were happy and we could relax. Huge soft play area, huge outdoor area and great food!

   Fabulous morning at Tong Garden Centre For three children and myself cost was £22.45 (up to two adults are free) There’s an extensive indoor soft play area and a variety of different out door play spaces too. Due to rain we started indoors. As it was school holidays it was very busy and the older bigger children seemed to be dominating the indoor play area with a game of ‘tig’. Causing issues for younger children. Within ten minutes of arrival my 7 year (very tall for his age) grandson had received a punch to the face ! As a result I didn’t feel that I could sit down for a rest, I did feel that with the older children charging around that I needed to keep an eye on mine constantly We bought breakfast consisting of drinks and toasted tea cakes And an hour later they polished off ice creams with sprinkles and sauce at £10.35. The sun came out so we went outside . There are so many different outdoor play spaces : from bouncing areas to sand and obstacles courses It’s a fab place for children. However again I couldn’t sit down and followed my three from space to space We had a great time - despite the punch to the face which by the way wasn’t an accident

   Brilliant play place for the kids..its massive and plenty of variety. A huge outdoor area if the weather is good and also huge inside, for all ages. You defo need to book online...we were there for a party so we bypassed the queue...which by 11.45 was very long..its well worth it though. Take some £1 coins for the go carts outside, they are fun and you get a decent length of ride for your £1

   My first visit today, it has a huge indoor soft play with lots of different areas. We mainly played outside on the air pillows, play equipment and sand pit. The food was reasonable and the toilets were clean. Not ideal if you have a number of children as it's expensive on admission, and difficult to keep track of children as the spaces are so big!
