A really great day out for the kids. We visited on New Year’s Eve and it wasn’t too busy. I’d recommend allowing at least four hours for a first visit - with two children, we weren’t able to cover all the areas in three hours. The good thing is the ticket includes an Annual Pass, so we can go back and complete what we missed. Parking isn’t free (£4 for three hours), but card payments are accepted. There isn’t a dedicated prayer room; however, there is a quiet room which staff are happy to open for you on request. Well worth a visit!

Went with my 9yo. I wouldn't say it is a full day out. We felt most of the museum is aim at 5 and under. We spent three hours here and did several of the attractions twice.. Personally would not say it was worth the £55 I paid..another thing I didn't realise was the car park is pay and display another £6 added to the day.. Lots of places to sit with a picnic. Cafe is as to be expected a little expensive.

It is beautiful, interactive, smart and a learning space for children and adults. Make sure the adults have patience and the kids had a nap :)) There are endless activities!! The museum is right at the exit of the train station. There are picnic areas inside and out for own food, there is a cafe to buy warm/cold food, drinks and even ice cream. There’s also a sand pit outside. You can go in and out if you want, they will stamp your hand.

Brilliant day, my Grandson loved the sandpit and the pizza in the restaurant was good, not frozen cardboard type that you get in a lot of kids meals. I guess it's quite expensive, but as we live locally we will use the unlimited additional twelve months access

Such a great interactive museum. My kids aged 5 7 and 11 all absolutely loved it. So much to see and do to keep them entertained. Dressing up, role play, interactive exhibits all ready to be touched and experienced. Eureka are also extremely helpful and accommodating to children on the spectrum. With resources there to support parents and children who may be overstimulated. We got there at 10 and left about 3 so a good chunk of the day. We took our own picnic and refreshingly for a museum they have both inside and outside picnic areas which is great. The only downside really is the price. They do have different discounts available but it can get quiet expensive for a larger family, although once you pay in you get a years membership so another plus

This is designed for kids so no surprise that my 3 year old enjoyed every minute of spending here and it was nearly 4 hours long! Great experience, absolutely recommend it. There's a cafe with lots of food choices and also a toy shop. The best part is after buying your tickets you get a yearly pass that allows you to visit for free.

What an absolutely fantastic place this is. I remember going when I was young but this was the first time I have taken my kids here and they loved it. There is so much to do, we went with my 8 year old daughter who has autism and ADD, my 2 year old son and my 10 month old niece and all 3 kids enjoyed themselves and there was something to do. The only downside was that the weather wasn't great so we had to avoid the put door play bits but they looked great. We went on a Sunday and got there at 10 for when it opened and for the first hour it was relatively quiet, which was great for my kids. They had lots of interactive areas and great play areas. We booked our time slot and paid online, like you need to for most places these days, the prices were reasonable and then we found out that our tickets mean we can go back as much as we want for a whole year, we will definitely be making the most of them! We brought a packed lunch with us, my kids love a "picnic" so I can't really be sure about how expensive the cafe is. We did pop in for a drink each and if they are an indicator I would say it is a little on the pricey side. If you have a spare hour in the morning I'd recommend doing a picnic. I drove there as we are only 30 minutes away but if you don't have a car, Halifax train station is literally on the door step, that is not an over exaggeration, you can see the plat form from the reception. So it is excellent for transport links too. I would recommend anyone to go for a great family day out.

Amazing place. Educational and fun! Most things are probably best for kids up to 12 but older kids will enjoy it too. They have a gift shop and cafe on site, the food is reasonably priced. Sand pit outside so I'd recommend taking a little bucket and spade and a towel to get little feet clean. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Incredible day out. We took out 15 month old so that he could have a fun place to have a walk around and explore without us having to say no to touching things. Better than we could have imagined my 15 month old explored, played and had such a fun day out. He was able to get involved with lots of the exhibits. The perfect place to take a toddler and plenty to do for older kids too. Highly recommended!
