Amazing play gym! ✨ There’s so much to do for the kids – all my kids absolutely love it every time we have visited. Staff are great, it’s clean, and there’s plenty to keep them entertained. Highly recommend! X
I absolutely love running our Rhythm Time classes here and the children love their free play at the fantastic centre after class too! Shaun (the owner) is always so welcoming and helpful. He pops up to see us in class and make sure all our customers are happy too. It's a wonderful space for young children and I know from the chat in class that our parents love the great cafe on site too!
Edit: ** In response to your response - I explained this was my experience three times - so your guests on the third occasion weren’t present the first or second time I came in were they? And still blunt and rudeness towards a paying customer. Signing in and out - not a problem. Its your manners. Not approachable upon me leaving? I had little children with me walking out calmly! Im sure your daughter wouldn’t like to be treated rudely when taking her child out on a planned visit. I asked about the crisps as it wasn’t stated on the menu for that plate. It said “crisps”. Fair question. Quite normal. Very SAD you find it fitting to be snappy about a crisp packet. Im also glad you realised who this review was from - considering I didn’t give the details you have mentioned - you were absolutely aware of your grumpiness and chose to act that way the minute you saw me. If you know what I mean. And yes I came back three times - and reviewed after there visits - how fair of me not to judge on the first occasion - absolutely gave it the benefit of doubt. ** My review is based on the 3 times I have been here. I have had the same experience each time so safe to say it wasn't just down to an off day the staff was having or something I said or did. Looking back at previous negative comments I guess I should expect a snappy response but nothing can change my opinion because it is based on the same experience 3 times over 2 years, and now I am writing this review. The play gym is very nice and that is why I have made the effort to go despite the lack of parking and being up a flight of stairs. Meaning you'd have to leave your pram on the bottom floor if you had one. None of this has put me off from visiting again because the place itself is decent. On this occasion I got dropped off and picked up knowing the layout and facilities. So planned ahead. What has put me off though is the man at the counter/till/entrance! Rude, blunt, unwelcoming and no manners. No welcome, no thank you for payments and no thank you for coming. Snappy when asked a question regarding my order. What happened to doing whatever you can for repeat customers. As this was my 3rd experience of the same rudeness I watched and observed how you changed your manners for customers that followed in and the ones that left before I did. Smiles and thanks. As I walked out you managed to say the words “sign out”. I guess there is a certain type of customer you like - and certain ones you see and decide to behave that way. Im glad others have left reviews so I can rest assured its nothing I've done its clearly you! Say what you like in response but when someone puts money into the business you should thank them all the same. Say what you like but im leaving this review for others to know when they experience this its not them its you!
Paid a visit here today with my nephew and partner, we had a fantastic time in probably the best play area we have ever seen for his age group. The food was fantastic and very fairly priced the staff were very helpful and very friendly to speak to. Our little nephew enjoyed the bubbles when the owners were walking round blowing bubbles for the children, if you've never tried this place before we highly recommend it and we will definitely be back! Being from sowerby bridge ourselves we didnt find parking an issue we just used west street car park around the corner we look forward to our next visit. Thanks guys!
Absolutely our favourite play gym. We drive from Huddersfield to come here. It's perfect for under 4s with soft foam mats throughout and so many sensory toys, gadgets and accessories. A dedicated user 6 months area with bouncers, a ball pool and rockers. Amd there's a bigger area with little tykes cars and a larger climbing frame with slide.
The best softplay for babies and toddlers by far! So much for them to do, a decent amount of space for walking and crawling. Really well thought out with appropriate toys for each baby stage. You can tell that a lot of time and attention has gone into this place. Staff were friendly, rules were clear and well signposted. Also very clean, the lady working there took highchairs away for cleaning straight after use which is rarely the case anywhere else! My daughter loved it and we will definitely be coming back regularly :)
I absolutely love little monkeys play gym, I have been going for 4 years now - the staff are lovely and remember yours and your children’s names - the play gym itself is perfect for under 4s you can see them where ever they go! Absolutely fab!xxx
WOW - what a wonderful place Little Monkeys is for little ones! The recent re-vamp has clearly been well thought out as they have introduced a plethora of sensory stations that appeal to new borns, right through to toddlers! The food was exceptionally good quality for the price and the owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating! Thankyou Little Monkeys. I can’t wait to bring my nieces and nephew back again soon!
Visited for the first time today with our little girl who is 18 months. Fantastic time, lovely and clean and such a great variety of things to explore. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back. Best play gym in the Halifax area!
I’ve been visiting little monkeys for over 3 years now, my little girl who is 3.5 still enjoys it as much now as she did way back when we used to meet with her baby friends. We now visit with her younger brother also who has the best fun! We’ve held a 1st birthday party here too which was fab! Everyone had a great time, the food was perfect for their age and dietary requirements and it was all so well managed and organised. There’s so much to do, the owners are constantly striving to make it the best place for young children and they never fail to succeed. It’s the best play gym around by far for younger children. It’s colourful, engaging and there’s so many interactive and sensory toys! Just perfect for growing little minds. The food and drink they offer is varied and delicious also. Thanks for being our number 1 place to visit with our friends and ever growing families.
