This is a response to your reply on my review of your terrible customer service. Original invoice was provided on dropping off my tool for repair. In the 6 weeks that you had my tool for repair you didn't ring me once to ask for any extra documents. I phoned you for updates and you said you would call back but never did multiple times. Please don't respond to my review of your terrible service with more lies. Please try to do better because currently your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

I have a DeWalt ratchet and it developed a fault. Went on dewalts website and they say that you have to take it to an approved repair centre. Terra truck were the closest. I dropped it off and was told it will take a couple of weeks. After 3 weeks I phoned up and was told they were waiting on parts from DeWalt. Waited another couple of weeks and rang again said they would ring me back when they found out what was going on. Never phoned back after multiple phone calls someone finally tells me that the date code wasn't readable so DeWalt won't approve the repair. Have picked the ratchet up today and the date code was dirty so I cleaned it with Wd40 and now it's fully readable. Have been without my ratchet for 6 weeks for no reason I'm now sending it directly to DeWalt for repair. This place shouldn't be an approved DeWalt service centre there customer service is absolutely shocking.

Not a bad place to buy tools when you need them fast but I often have trouble with the tools I buy after only 5-6months and I find that it takes a long time for repairs and also I've been going there for years and have only recently felt as though the staff were paying attention to my concerns regarding any issues. To summarise I'd say if you need tools in a hurry use terratruck but if you can afford to wait a day or two screwfix seems to be better.

On friday I ordered a simple part for my chainsaw which I needed in order to do some tree work (I am an arborist by trade). I was told that it would be in store on wednesday, which was fine. On wednesday at 1pm I contacted them to ask if it had arrived, I was told that they would check and call me back in 10 minutes. After waiting 1 hour I contacted them again to ask if they had found it, they said they had not had it in yet, but should get it later on that day, I said I would wait until tomorrow to call again as I could tell they were busy. Thursday morning at 8.30 I called to see if they had received the part, I was told that they would check and call back in 10 minutes. At 9.30 I called again to ask if they had checked, they said they would check immediately and call back in 5 minutes. At 10.30 I called again to see what was going on, I explained my frustration and was told that I was a priority and it WILL be in within the hour and that they'd call me when it came in. At 16.30 I called a final time, they said that they would check and call back in 10 minutes, I said that I had had enough and would call again next week because I didn't trust them to call back. (They would be closed for good friday and the monday for easter) I had planned a load of tree work for that weekend and had to let customers down. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, complete lies constantly. I understand that businesses can be busy, but if I lied to my customers and treated them like this I would not have a business for long. Very disappointed, will never use them again.
