   Appointment only so gaurenteed haircut when you need it. Always goes above and beyond both with the haircut and the chat! Had my first hot towel shave today, absolutely amazing. Yanie is top man definitely recommend to anyone! 10/10

   It's only occurred to me after what's likely a half dozen visits since I've been back in the same county that I'm yet to leave a well-deserved review. For context, the Asprou family are the only barbers I've allowed near my hair for most of my life. At first, the original shop throughout most of my childhood and young adults years and now Yiannie. Upon first visit, I'd booked in for an appointment being unsure what I even wanted as I'd not been to a barber while living away for years, instead massacring my own hair. Yiannie was very helpful with parsing what were some very vague preferences before I left with a style that has since become my regular choice. It's also ideal that appointments can be booked via an Internet browser or an app, making fitting in a haircut around my schedule a dawdle. Since that first appointment, I've gone for the gents fade every time, only changing details of the desired length as I dial in on my ideal personal preferences. Every single time, Yiannie has produced superb results at sublime speed while maintaining pinpoint accuracy. With the level of excellence being accompanied by a casual demeanour, it allows for a flow of some brilliant conversation that really sets Yiannie apart from any other barber I've ever met. From the socio-economic landscape of today compared to years passed, to the ramifications of AI technology on the arts, to a nuanced appreciation of literary talent, Yiannie should be the dictionarial definition of conversationalism. On price point, £20 for a gent's fade is incredibly reasonable and has been worth every penny every time. The level of service is always a pleasure to enjoy and the conversation keeps the whole time in his chair interesting and relaxed. As someone who's religiously gone to Asprou barbers for over 20 years where able, I'd even go as far as saying that Yiannie is the best barber I've had. To summarise my ramblings: Price - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ease of Access - 5/5 Availability- 5/5 Quality - 5/5

   I really enjoy going to see Yanie, not only for a world class haircut but for some great conversation. As soon as you enter his shop you immediately notice what a marvel it is. Filled with all kinds of memorabilia, trinkets, and more. When you're sat in that chair, you feel totally relaxed and comfortable around him. Did I mention you get free coffee too?    Have been going to Yannie since he opened and will continue until he retires. Or I go bald. Whichever is first. Excellent service, brilliant value and I am always happy with the cut. Yannie uses excellent products that are available to purchase, which I have and am incredibly happy with them all. I've paid a lot more for haircuts I've been very unhappy with. In addition, Yannie is happy to offer advice and guidance on things like beard maintenance, which I sorely needed. I always leave the shop happy and feeling excellent.

   Having used the Barbers for numerous years on and off, I've always liked how comfortable I feel getting my hair cut and beard trimmer when it was allowed. The decor of the shop is fantastic but it is how good you feel coming away from the shop because you know the Barber is not only good at his job but also puts so much pride in to your hair cut. I recommend anyone wanting a good Barber to go and experience Asprou Bros Barbers.

   Wow! What a Barbers. I've been to most barbers in barry but this one really stands out. From the outside it looks like any other but step inside and it's obvious it's on another level. With a real traditional feel this place is dapper. Full of curiosities and trinkets it's a bit of a treasure trove. From vintage hairdressing artwork to cult movie posters this place is worth a visit just for the reading material and free coffee (pre coronavirus). The only thing that matches the quality of this place is the hair cutting itself. Yanie Asprou descends from a line of well reputed barbers some of which cut my hair as a child. He was raised in the hairdressing environment and the natural ability shows in every cut. I wont go anywhere else. A +++++++

   I have had my haircut at so many barbers over the years but once I had been here I won't let anyone else cut my hair! Yanni is very friendly and welcoming, his shop is stylish and comfortable and even has a free coffee machine. You are never made to wait long for a trim and even though he has been very busy since reopening due to Covid, everything is thought out and organised very well. I tell all my friends to go here for a cut. Keep up the good work Yanni!
