A great visit for the Christmas market. Parking close by, only a few minutes walk away. The market itself was great , but was also great visiting all the shops of The Piece Hall. We enjoyed some food and drinks in the cafes, restaurants and bars too. Some of the shops were busy but could still see everything, just needed a bit of patience.

1st time we've ever been here, and we wasn't disappointed. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Plenty of nice quirky shops and eateries. Spent a good few hours walking around. Will definitely be going again.

Two gigs Simple Minds & Faithless. SM was in the lounge and Faithless on the balcony. The sound on the balcony section with the lounge, is at an angle that completely wipes out anything like reasonable sound. Don't go lounge if you wish for coherent sound from your band. Faithless was completely different. The balcony is directly opposite the stage and the sound was actually very good. Staff at the gig were very good bar the odd 'I don't want to be here' which you get everywhere. Elsewhere they were friendly and pleased to help you. 3 stars for the sound let down at SM, it really wasn't worth being there. However, balcony or downstairs, all fine. Traffic sport links, very, very easy - train station 200 yards away or very easy to park a d very easy to get away too. I am sure I'll be back.

Amazing concert venue! Loved the libertines, the only issue were the toilets! Only on one side only the venue so if you're watching the concert on the other its a right farce to fight your way through everyone and there is definitely not enough of the portaloos!!! Apart from that i loved every second!

First time visited. Fascinating history where they use to trade cloth. Now they have some quirky shops and plenty of eateries and CafΓ©s where you can relax and watch the world go by. The shops are located on two floors. To be noted, there are some lifts! And good facilities at each corner of the hall.

A wonderful quirky place from yester years to visit. Very impressive place with a wonderful vibe and as ample space for everyone including wheelchair users. Wonderful small family run businesses selling everything from handmade to unique one off items such as jewellery, furniture, pictures/paintings,clothing or tea rooms. Sadly parking can be an issue but apart from this strongly recommend people visit this beautiful gem of a place.

Excellent venue. Well organised and superb sound. Good atmosphere and staff were friendly and very helpful. Had VIP tickets so were up in the balcony. Being open air it stated no umbrellas or chairs. No parking at the venue so look for car parks nearby such as Broad Street. Would definitely go back. Lovely time.

More than 30 years since we last came. What a fabulous transformation. Plenty of independent shops which kept the misses happy. Lifts are also now available to the upper floors. I like whatβs been done with the step waterfalls and levelling off the courtyard with picnic benches and ample seating for all. All in all a very pleasant visit. We must go more often.
