The panto this year at Christmas was absolutely fantastic. Fabulous characterisation, belly laughs all the way through - I will definitely be there next year . Such a wonderfully entertaining evening at Beauty and the Beast - Thsnk you for making it such a wonderfully entertaining evening for young and old!!
Great venue for a gig. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Feels like there's plenty on entrance and exit space. Great view of stage from slightly slopes floor.
5 stars for the staff. We were standing at a concert when my daughter started to feel faint. We went to the lobby for air and the staff immediately came over to ask if they could help. They arranged some seats for us so she could still watch the band which was a very generous and caring act. Many thanks !
Wonderful Experience at Victoria Theatre, Halifax! I recently visited Victoria Theatre, Halifax, to watch my daughter’s school performance, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and well-organised. The light and sound arrangements were outstanding, adding a truly professional touch to the entire performance. The food and refreshments were surprisingly good, with plenty of options and great quality. Overall, it was a memorable day for both parents and children. A big thank you to the Victoria Theatre team for maintaining such a beautiful venue and ensuring everything ran so smoothly. I’ll definitely look forward to visiting again!
Last time I was at this place it was packed same again for the legend Ryan Giggs absolutely packed I feel the best view is up in the air but it’s what ever you fancy the building has some great old architecture features which you can’t get in the new builds but the venue clean old skool the staff very pleasant also professional the venue also very clean with plenty of bars or vendors on offer it’s a gem of Halifax .
Fantastic night out, we've seen the Bootleg Beatles before in Bradford, but the civic in Halifax was a far better venue, and a great crowd made for an even better experience.
Beautiful theatre retaining all its past grandeur. Staff were lovely . Very organised at the bar & my Sister & I ordered drinks for the interval, which were there waiting for us. Prices average & affordable. The show was brilliant. Musicians & singers were superb. We had a very enjoyable evening
Great experience. Lovely staff. Shows are well organised. I have been to another where there could have been a better system at the bar. Over half an hour missing the show i paid for to get a drink. Next time I dont think I will bother getting a drink.
Lovely traditional theatre. Saw Whitney Queen of the night there last week, great seats and drink prices were top badly priced. Really helpful staff
What a beautiful old style theatre. Saw Jack Savoretti and his band . They obviously enjoyed playing there.
