   Great shop with lots of products on display, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Brought my partner here to buy his birthday present (a wood turning lathe) I didn’t really know what I was buying, so thought it would be best to just take him there and have a look. We were impressed at the amount of tools and accessories on display in the store, plenty of helpful staff available to offer guidance. The lady who served us was lovely and very knowledgeable. Advised us on what we needed to get started based on what my partner wanted to make and the right accessories without over selling. Took time to ensure we knew about ppe when using the lathe. They also offer workshops when purchasing lathes, but we didn’t try this. Cannot fault the customer service, will definitely be going back here when purchasing any more equipment or accessories.

   THE place to go if you're looking for quality tools and advice. You'll find cheaper, but you'll be hard pressed to find better. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, so able to advise on the best solution to anything that you need. The range that they carry in stock is great, and their own range of machinery is top quality. No pressure selling either - they don't need to. Always my first stop for anything that they do.

   Poor,poor service from this store. My husband has been waiting over 4weeks for a part for his paint spraying mahine. Customer service man Paul took the order and payment. But part not ordered. He is still waiting for it, and has turned down jobs and has others lined up. But not sure when this will arrive to commit to them. They need to chase as the way things are at the moment no one can affordto turn down work. Well well, after they said to get in touch, they talked a good email. But still no update where the part is. Going to the shop Saturday for a face to face chat seeing as they cant be bothered to carry their promise out to sort this for my husband. Like i said poor poor poor service. Still waiting, told mid July no part yet.

   I am setting up a new Workshop to support a charity and plan to spend a lot of money to fully kit out. Went to this store and was so disappointed with the customer service. Spent an hour there with a rep to built a list of all the machinery I was looking for to get a bundle price. 2 weeks went still no come back! Went again, saw manager, reviewed again, gave email, he promised to send me quote. Week later still nothing!? I rang to chase and still nothing! It's been over a couple of months and no comeback. To think I had planned to buy all my stuff from there as it's a trusted Brand. Wow !!?? You would think they would be eager for business. I'm absolutely shocked by the lack of customer focus and business Drive!

   WOW excellent customer journey from my first phone call with Peter, to deciding which wood lathe to get in store with Jay. They say retail is all about the experience these days and if the case then Axminster Nuneaton have got it right. We've returned to store today to have some lathe training, because a two hour 'how to' session was included with the lathe. Fantastic news because it covers all the introduction skills to get you up and running, including safety. On site in the store workshop. My son will get a chance to try different tools before choosing what he needs in store, so we'll only end up with things that work for you :) They also run demonstrations, there's one this Saturday on making a resin and wood river table. Brilliant store, brilliant team.
