Disgusting place and workers, would give 0 stars if possible. Came for OCI services, called VFS Global multiple times and asked what the required documents were for the appointment. When I get to the appointment the man working there (who is the rudest and most condescending individual I have ever met, and desperately needs some training on customer service) tells me I don’t have the required documents. I tell him that I called your services and brought what I was told to bring, yet he comes up with some spiel that was complete nonsense. He tells me I need to book another appointment. Seems like everyone has to come at least a few times due to the contradictory information regarding the process. And for being in 2025, the websites (yes multiple) for applying for one thing is completely backwards. To top it off, we had to wait at least an hour from our actual appointment time to actually be seen, so we were stuck in a tiny, cramped room with 50 other people and babies crying and screaming. Most likely the wait times are due to the workers’ incompetence and people similar to me unfortunately arriving without the required documents because of the lack of information online. Also they ask for people to bring a printout of the appointment, so can only assume they don’t have a working electronic system which is very telling of the quality of service provided. Moreover, they have the gall to ask people to come 15 minutes early. No toilets for females either, they have to use the mens. Disgusting place and workers.

Good overall experience. The staff was very helpful guiding clearly on the required documents for application. There is also a PC Which you can use to get some printouts. The staff are very supportive. Please note, if you are coming to submit both birth certificate and passport, this isn't possible. There is a change in process. You can apply passport only after you have the birth certificate with you. Don't forget to submit your appointment copy once you arrive and wait in the waiting area to be called.

Met mr.jignesh and his team 6/08/25 one of the best team ever seen. So kind and very politely explained the procedures to each and every one. Two woman’s on his team where so kind explaining all the clients who came behind us. Spended huge time in filling forms and ordering forms not even one person on this day appointment Sended back . I’ve been to few Vfs places they where so rude and no staffs in counters simply send us back for small corrections and wasted few appointments made us so bad opinion on Vfs India team . Visited today 7th March for Passport renewal appointment, reached 30 minutes early, i was called bang on time. Krisha & Janki were amazing and dealt with everyone professional. I was surprised to receive such friendly service at Indian Consular office, had a very bad experience few years ago at Birmingham. It took 15 minutes to complete the formalities and payment. Plenty of parking on the next street, North Parade was tight on parking due to road works. Credit to the team working, it was unexpected.

The two ladies that helped me were a credit to the organization. Parking is not the best, (I suggest people contact Bfd council, re roadworks,) and signage could be better, the ladies did say new signs are to be erected. Twenty years I have had to do the visa run, always with trepidation, thankfully this will not be the case anymore . Ladies thankyou.

This place and staff are a joke. Unprofessional staff.. no system in place. Appointments run 2 hours later than given time. The place was fully packed. Was waiting 2 hours standing at the stairs and the hallway.. then they did not even take a min to get me out of there saying add the information on the application.. which I later found out was not necessarily required. Plus I got a 100 pound fine for the car park over due time. What a brilliant experience. Been there so many times. New issue every time!!!

What a dreadful building! Organisation inside is pathetic. Nobody seems to know what to do so just line up like sheep!! It would not be hard to organize a sign explaining the procedure so people know. Your time slot is "shouted " out ...then a mad scrum to the counter! DREADFULLY organised. Staff doing their best and very pleasant. I think too many people don't fill their paperwork in correctly which delays the whole process. My appointment was for 1pm but I was not seen until 2pm ! Be prepared for a wait in what I thought was a dismal and very depressing waiting area! (Some colourful India art work would brighten this dreary place!)
