Very good beer selection, stopped in for some last minute Christmas shopping, got some beers I know people will be very happy with.
Unbelievable range of Belgian beers (and Dutch trappist ales including La Trappe Quad!) as well as German beers of all types. Rare stuff not usually seen even in specialist shops. Really impressive. Spent far too much money just because there was so much great stuff – could easily have spent much more if we abandoned all self-discipline. Came down from Leicester just to visit and we will definitely return.
Came in to collect a parcel that was not there. While I accept this isn't their fault (they sent is back due to no name being on the parcel), both people I spoke to (elderly, assume owners of store) were very rude and abrupt and would not let me try speak really. I will not be using them in future unless I want to be ignored and berated for trying to sort things out.
Best selection of beers especially Lagers I've seen in this country. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff with expert knowledge. Highly recommend this shop for any serious beer lover. I am from Munich and know my German lagers, but even I didn't know some of the gems on sale here. Would give it 10 stars if I could.
Excellent range of beers in stock from near and far. Great place to pick up spices and good range of dried chillies, too. Stocks pretty much everything you need in a hurry as well!
One of the best selections of craft beers in Harborough. Very friendly staff with great knowledge about products. Happily and often recommended to others.
