   We bought a house through Lyons Bowe 5 years ago after being recommended via our agent. All seemed ok, it was a pretty basic transaction. We've now sold said property to find things being missed during our process. Luckily we've used another conveyancer this time. Unfortunately for us our buyers and their buyers are now using Lyons Bowe. I have never been involved with a process with such incompetence involved. Files being handed around different departments and locations, people on annual leave (on exchange day) with no handover. Took 2 and 1/2 days to exchange, even though everyone was ready. Surprise surprise, its completion day, 3pm, and delays coming from Lyons Bowe. This is not an isolated case, I've spoken to several people in our local area having very similar problems. There are many better firms out there. Update: due to the above mentioned delays in starting completion, were now the weekend before Christmas, with 2 children (one being disabled with high care needs) and they've caused us to be homeless for the weekend! Needless to say, massively out of pocket due to having no choice but to put our entire lives in storage for the weekend and pay double for our removal company! Merry Christmas Lyons Bowe! I'll be writing to your Director in due course with my official complaint.

   Ref the sale of a property Kept informed. Easily contactable. Explained the process. Prerana Das in the initial stages was very good. Mercy Mulaudzi in legal and conveyancing exceptional. Then in the next stage exchange and completion, Ellie Weeks was also exceptional. She dealt with the queries efficiently. Despite a few issues on our part. Would use Lyons Bowe again. Highly recommend the company Paul and Sue Marsden

   I have just had the completion for a property that was dealt with by Lyons Bowe Solicitors. The conveyancing executive was Oshini Perera and I can only say how professional, helpful, very prompt and supportive she was during a somewhat stressful and challenging house sale. I cannot fault her work in any way, she always shows 100% attention to detail and has been supportive throughout the entire process of selling my property. Also, Oshini understands how very stressful this is, especially when you are not familiar with selling a property.

   IMHO - Avoid! They were so unprofessional during my case! I was buying a house first time in my life and everything went wrong. I never spoke to my actual solicitor - Nadia Udich. She never picks up the phone and never replied to my emails. Other people replied and I was dealing with different people all the time. TR1, Contract, Outstanding Fees had mistakes! The seller near dropped the sale because my concerns were not passed to her for 3 months! Save your nerves go somewhere else!

   Emma Bevan has outright lied, poorly handled and delayed the purchase on a house. Terrible communication it’s completely embarrassing and barely cares in meeting client expectation. Avoid at all costs

   Awful experience with this company, the solicitor dealing with my divorce forgot to submit bank statements on time, this got me a £5000 fine, then two weeks before my hearing which should have allowed a 50/50 split, got sacked from the company and the owner could not have cared any less and told me to lose my split as the kids would eventually inherit the money from my ex wife!!!! The only person left to deal with this case was the owner ‘Lyons’ who was only qualified as a conveyancing solicitor Years later I am still struggling financially. Steer clear!

   My solicitor let me down on the final hour of completion (not on the panel). I was recommended Lyons Bowe who picked up the work last min and are generally the only reason we completed. Gemma and her team are fantastic from start to finish. Responded so fast and guided us through what was a fairly difficult transaction. Went out of there way to deal with everything, generally a please to work with! Could not recommend her more to anyone!

   We were just contacted by the Lyons-Bowe Solicitors for Land registry fee with the email subject starting with "Money Owed". We had, however, paid the land registry fee couple of months ago. Try to avoid them if you can but if you've happened to work with them please be aware of their common mistakes.
