Absolute bellends, first told by mr one eye that card payments are £3.00 fair enough, tried Apple Pay and that declined (usually pay as convenient) then was about to pay using my physical card and he started to question me as if he is fraud prevention saying why would this work if that didn’t etc. I told him I don’t know I don’t work at the bank, if he looked or bothered being polite I had all my I’d with me including driver’s license etc. he then asked why I was getting aggressive. I can barely talk as I have lost my voice and this guy thinks I was aggressive. I left my stuff and walked out. No wonder the shop is always dead! Probably dealing drugs and using the shop as a cover to launder money as judging by customer service I wouldn’t spend a penny

I use Godiva Wines regularly for alcohol & Elf Bars. Jag is wonderful, very welcoming and polite & we always have a chat when I pop in. Prices are good & lots of stock, definitely won't ever leave empty handed! Cheapest Elf Bars in the city too. I always leave this shop with a smile on my face!

Well to start with I have used this shop a few times over the years but sadly mostly bad experiences. There is only one female member of staff who actually has proper customer service skills. The rest are so rude, unprofessional and down right humiliating for no good reason. Myself being short in size, having a baby face and not always dressed me best is never an excuse or reason to treat ‘customers’ this way. I always carry ID with me to show and I’m accepting of the fact I get asked despite being 25 and 26 in December. I always treat people with respect, I don’t expected to be given dirty looks and spoken to so rudely. When asking about price of alcohol and while browsing I was rudely spoken to. When I went to ask about prices I was quoted them by the other female member of staff while she finished serving another customer who had 2 1L bottles of alcohol and was getting another bottle and was served politely. Then when I asked for 2 1/2 bottles I’m told I’m only to be allowed to be served one as they can also sell personal consumption. I have never been so insulted in my life to be of been treated like this again and again by the same people in this store. I will never be setting foot into this establishment and if you ask me I don’t think others should either they treat you like dirt. It’s a shame as they do have a really nice worker who is always friendly, polite, friendly and most importantly conducts herself in a professional manner and for that they get one star rating from me.
