Would highly recommend taking the ageing parent in your life to Stone Dam! We were shopping mobility chairs. Great service from the lady at the desk today. Just what we needed in terms of helpful, knowledgeable, available but not pushy or overwhelming. Ultimately we purchased elsewhere as the we wanted something in stock in a very particular style/colour - but now we know how good they are we will be back for other items in future.
Excellent choice of beds, mattresses and household furniture at very reasonable prices. Old beds and mattresses removed on delivery of the new ones. Staff are helpful and friendly as are the delivery crew. Delivered on time within 4 days of order being placed. Highly recommend.

Stone Dam Mills, is great place for furniture of all kinds. Suits, beds, wardrobes, small items, have bought loads over the years. Having travelled to out of town big stores, then only to buy local, I now make it my first place, and often my last. I've had a problem in the past, manufacturing fault, and the manager/ owner? Sorted it absolutely no issues. Highly recommend.
Wide range of beds and sofas and chairs. Dining tables and chairs . We found a really nice sofa and a new bed at a reasonable price. The staff are very helpful. The furniture is over five floors, there is a lift for disabled access.
Absolutely brilliant service from the point of sale right up to delivery and assembly. My mum has used Stone Dam a few times over the last year for her furniture and they’ve been great (special shout-out to Mel for being so friendly and helpful). Me and my partner just purchased a wardrobe and it was all so easy, the delivery guys were lovely and so was the man who came to assemble it for us! A friendly bunch of people and a great local business.

They give you the information you require and don't push you for a sale. Everything clearly priced. We ordered a table and chairs which were expected to be delivered in six weeks but came in just three. No delivery charges and everything unpacked, set up and put in place for us.
