That is my local GP. Yes, getting appointments can sometimes be tricky—you may end up waiting on the phone for 30+ minutes just to book a same-day slot. A suggestion would be to have more staff available to answer calls in the morning. No issues at all with the GPs and nurses—they are very caring and deal with health concerns on the spot. My suggestion would be to make the daily appointment booking system a little smoother and better managed

I had a genuinely pleasant experience at Little Horton Medical Centre, thanks to the excellent service provided by Philip Ademola, one of the receptionists. From the moment we arrived, Philip was polite, welcoming, and professional. It’s rare these days to be greeted with a warm smile at a GP practice, but Philip made us feel comfortable and valued right away. Over the phone, he was incredibly helpful in arranging an appointment and went the extra mile to ensure everything was sorted smoothly. He even followed up to confirm our sample had been submitted, which gave us peace of mind. Philip is a great example of how front-line staff can make a real difference in the healthcare experience. His willingness to support, his respectful manner, and his commitment to excellent service reflect the kind of care every patient hopes for. Thank you, Philip—you’re a true asset to the practice and the community.

I agree with the reviews I have read. Receptionists have no customer service skills, and professionalism is good as nil. They talk to you as if they are better than you, showing attitude ...cutting you halfway when speaking to them and disconnecting the calls. I got told I have been on the phone for 10 min and she needs to service other patients. In reality she put me on hold for 2 min and argued with me for about 5 min. When I was telling her how I felt, she made a joke out of it. Another receptionist told me she will be disconnecting my call as someone else in the surgery is asking the same question in relation to the same patient but when I advised the receptionists I needed to speak as I am dealing with this she didn't listen or knowledge me and disconnected my call. I was disconnected 3 times, and I refused to ring back, I will be making an official complaint to the NHS. We pay their wages, they need to come down to earth and treat their patients with respect and empathy as they don't know the vulnerability of their patients

Must be the worst doctors surgery in the country. The attitudes of the staff are disgusting, I had the misfortune of speaking to one of the receptionists this morning, a young lady that goes by the name of Charlie. She was so rude, abrupt and clearly held prejudices. I arrived a little late for my appointment, due to my mental health issues and the medication that they have put me on, I don’t sleep much. None of this was taken into consideration, rather, I was spoken to like a piece of dirt. How does she sleep at night knowing she has treated people so unprofessionally? Probably because she feels they are beneath her and she is better than them.

The most rude receptionist/practice manager I'd say in the whole of medicine! It's dead easy to get seen if you are jobless but God help you if you work and can't phone at 8am in the morning. The surgery has very dated equipment, the appointment system is an absolute joke and I shall be complaining about the practice manager to the GMC! Disgusting attitude! I know of 10 plus people that have left this surgery purely down to this woman! The doctors are decent, the other people on reception are great but I really hope people don't have to deal with this woman and anybody that is as rude and aloof as her should not be in a customer facing role. Edit: Recently I had a ,inor heart attack and didn't know for 2 weeks of feeling shocking and barely able to stand up and missed 2 appointments whiI apologised for as soon as I could yet they have removed me from their books. So no aftercare, no follow ups and literally just more bad attitude and rudeness from the receptionist. If you can find a different doctors surgery I would do as this surgery's actions in my opinion are shocking, bordering on, malpractice. I now have a hematoma on my head that I can't see a doctor about and a probable broken rib yet checked NHS app and I have no doctors. Never mind repeat prescriptions that I need. So if you enjoy being spoken down to, patronised, made to feel like a problem then go to this surgery. Make sure it's the large lady on reception as she will help you out without so much as a warm welcome never mind a smile. Good riddance to a terrible practice.

If I could give this surgery 0 stars, I would, purely due to the unprofessional and ruthless reception staff. Absolutely appalling telephone manner and they think they're medically trained to decide whether or not you ought to be given an appointment. Out of the four reception staff I've spoken to recently, ALL but one have stinking attitudes and zero care/compassion. Where does Dr Gilkar find these people? The doctors themselves are pretty decent to be honest. But getting an appointment with them is nothing short of a miracle as the receptionist staff are so reluctant to help arrange one. Honestly it's almost comedic how these individuals have actually been hired in this setting when they have such little sensitivity and professionalism!

The staff here ARE SO RUDE! Medical receptionists and the doctors, it’s like they feel entitled of some sort. Unfortunately my elderly mum was a patient at this surgery , she recently went for a yearly check up , and the nurse SAIMA really said to my mum that she had bowel cancer and within the second as soon as she saw my mums face apologised and said she got it wrong. THE NHS IS A FREE SERVICE DO NOT FEEL AS THOUGH YOU ARE TIED TO A SURGERY, IF YIU ARE EXPERIENCING SOMETHING SIMILAR CHANGE YOUR SURGERY! the anxiety of having to plead and beg to be seen to then be confronted with complete hostility by the staff, wow, they need shutting down is you ask me.

They are totally joke. A medicine I need after every one or two month for Hey fever every time I request for it and I explain them please request the doctor to write down the specific brand as I’m telling you otherwise every time Pharmacy giving me generic brand and it doesn’t work with me it’s totally wasting my money. But I’m fed up now with them even they won’t give me doctor appointment. Even their service is now worst for the lovely excuse of corona. About on last July I requested for a repeat prescription and I turned up to the Medical Center on time, door was close for corona. Someone came out after calling, I asked him for my prescription, he replied to collect from the pharmacy. I told him my prescription shouldn’t go to the pharmacy because usually I don’t collect from this pharmacy I collect from GP reception. He went back to his desk again and came back said It is on the way to your home for delivery. I replied it’s impossible. Because I never ask for delivery and if someone do delivery to my home now their is no one at my house to pay for the medicine. Then The guy went back to inside and came back. Said - the medicine you requested for is not available here. I asked him can you please simply give me the prescription, then I can find out where is the medicine available. So far I know there are about 10 pharmacy in 2 miles radius from little horton medical Center, but he mentioned the medicine is only available at BD8 , I forgot the pharmacy name. He already made me upset with his service so I thought won’t waste the time to look at other pharmacy and I went to the pharmacy he mentioned and bought from there. The medicine were just 2 Inhaler brown 1 and blue1. I don’t understand about his drama. Anyway still we are thankful because of you are doing too much paperwork for us. You know medical Center does too much paperwork, not much service for patients.
