We visit here on an occasional basic for our community crlebration .its a b8g hall can hold around 300 people and a seperaye dining room dressing roon toilets .every time we book the same hall for the seasonal events .we enjou visiting this place.
Why cancel gigs that don't align with your woke policies. As for the CI who refused to contact someone back...... shameful behaviour. Stop cancelling gigs when they've been paid for in good faith. I hope other organisations now fully boycott Rugby and your venue.
Made arrangements in order to see the great Katie Hopkins again and to be notified it was going to be cancelled 4 days before the show is Ludacris! Lost a great deal amount of time and money in the process. Now if you have a problem with Katie that's on you but the mere fact it sold out again tells you you are the minority in cancelling her! SHAME ON RUGBY COUNTY COUNCIL
Disgraceful behaviour. Cancelled a show 4 days before the show, THEY did not even bother to notify anyone, had to happen across it via a video on Facebook from Katie Hopkins. Benn is owned by the Council, who dont like free speech in case theres a hurty word or something someone doesnt like, to keep their voter demographic they wont let a comedy show go on. So now I have no way of getting back non refundable train tickets and hotel rooms. I am over £100 out of pocket and they dont even have the decency to contact people who have bought tickets. Have emailed the CEO of the Council, who run this venue and the venue itself and they dont have the decency to respond.
Went to see a show, reminded me of old style village halls which is major disadvantage. Whilst plenty of space between rows seating needs to be on levels instead of flat, impossible to see through people to the stage a grandstand style seating would solve that. Bars are too small to cope with demand and the fact that each bar does not offer the same range means that you are forced to queue twice. Finally I paid to watch a show not listen to some obnoxious family of fully grown adults have a conversation all the way through but the 2 security guards chose to do nothing about that. Would seriously consider before booking anything here again and would not recommend.

Dreadful. The band were excellent (bit of a dodgy singer though)... but the Benn Hall layout was atrocious. I felt like I was in a social club. People getting up whilst the show was on to bring trays of beer back to their table, tripping over feet, knocking heads and spilling said beer in people's laps. How rude to the band... but what was worse was the round table layout which allowed other concert goers to believe it was ok to just chat away through the entire show about their workday, the football and the good old British weather amongst other subjects. I was there to listen to a band, not how rubbish Leicester City are. The other thing that let the Benn Hall down was how ridiculously hot it was in there... extremely uncomfortable. I guess they'll do nothing to address these concerns, but they won't need to on my behalf as I will not return and would say to others not to bother either.
