Hello this is Aliaa I would like to thank and appreciate Dr. Maryam Shahed in Bradford Hospital's emergency department because she is the best doctor who dealt with my case and helped me. I went to the emergency room three times due to nosebleeds, and no one cared. I stayed there for long hours, and I was always bleeding. I had to wait, which was at least 6 hours, but she made an effort to help me and take the basic step to stop the bleeding. Many thanks to her, Dr. Maryam

6 hour wait to get seen . Absolutely disgraceful. We could have been seen within an hour so more serious cases can get deat with properly. But people are just expected to sit and wait. So many people got fed up and left waiting for their turn. Self diagnosis and treatment is becoming common.

Took son to have surgery ward 12, the nurses and the surgeon told us we would be first as my boy was the youngest. Then later surgeon put my son last, everyone confused, the surgeon said he wanted to do the hardest surgery last! Lost faith in this surgeon, as he was untrustworthy. The staff said it was because he wanted to do the white kid, was the oldest first.

The Relatives Helpline at the B.R.I. is an absolute god send. My 82 year old mother was admitted via A & E on three separate occasions recently. The Relatives Helpline gave me detailed accurate up to date info on her care. The staff on the helpline are so friendly and helpful and I can’t thank them enough for easing my dad’s worry. When mum was moved to ward 3 they even took the ward mobile to her so my dad could speak to her as they had just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. I dropped off a charger at the main reception one day and half an hour later the nurse on ward 22 was helping mum ring my dad. The staff are under so much pressure at the moment, but their care and attention has not wavered. Thank you – from a proud member of staff.

Had to present myself at A &E on Monday 26th November with injury to my arm. Arrived at 4pm at 6pm I was leaving the department having received care of a very high standard. Would you please thank everyone who looked after me .

ONE OF THE WORSE HOSPITALS! IF ONLY THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS! Only 2 doctors at the kids pediatrics ward. We have been here since 10pm and it's almost 1am. Save some money and go PRIVATE! Your just a number to these..just the way I am with my 1 weeks old baby!
