   Sadly, I had a terrible experience last week. I pre booked a taxi from Chippenham to Bristol Train Station. When we entered Bristol the taxi driver went in the wrong direction and towards Clifton instead of Temple Meads. I told him he was going in the wrong direction but he claimed he was just going a different route. He finally accepted he had taken a diversion and turned around. We were miles off route by that point. I ended up being 15 mins late and the taxi cost £20 more than the estimate I had been given when I pre booked, despite there being no traffic... It was clear I had been driven around the houses so he could make a few extra quid.

   One of the worst taxi experiences I've ever had – avoid Chippenham Taxi at all costs. I booked a cab with Chippenham Taxi for 6:50 PM – the booking was confirmed for that exact time. It was pouring with rain, and I made sure to be ready. Then, at 6:40 PM, I received a message saying the taxi was already outside. I left the restaurant early, only to find no car waiting. I called the company immediately, only to be told there had been a “mistake” and the driver was still en route. No apology, no transparency. When the driver finally arrived, he casually told me he had been shopping at Aldi. That’s the level of professionalism we’re dealing with. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when we got home, I discovered the child lock was on in the back seat – I could not get out of the car on my own. In the event of an emergency or accident, this is extremely dangerous and illegal for a taxi service. It is unacceptable to trap passengers in a vehicle like that. To top it all off, when I tried to contact the company again for assistance, my calls were ignored or declined. We were left standing outside for half an hour in the rain and eventually had to walk home. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Avoid this company – they are unreliable, unprofessional, and potentially unsafe. I’ll never use Chippenham Taxi again and strongly recommend others stay away.

   Absolutely NON professional!!! Had a booking and no car has been sent! Not even trying to send ! Lying the booking wasn’t made, when I’ve booked 3 days in advance with a text message prove !!! No one cancelled the booking. The train didn’t stopped at Chippenham as was a signal failure and I cancelled the Saturday booking !! But I had 2 bookings and I didn’t cancelled the Monday one!!! No excuse accepted!! Booking was there.

   Thank you Chippenham Taxis and in particular their driver Richard for rescuing me today when my car broke down half way out of Chippenham and I had an emergency appointment to attend. They arrived when they said they would, super friendly driver and gave me a good price. They made a rubbish situation all that more bearable. Will be using them again!
