Hey review seekers, plz don't book this service.. I am a local of Bedford. Today I was waiting for one of the best interviews that i could ever attend in my life, calling for a taxi from Mj cars, i donno his name,but this man told me that he would drop me to falfield so i haven't looked for any other taxis. I called after 5 minutes he replied that he would come within 5-10 minutes n i have told him about the emergency. Afterwards i called him giving him the time to pick me up. After 10 minutes i called him no reponse from his side.. Called him after 20 minutes.. No response again, then this crazy man texted me saying he's picking studentsfrom school n ask me to look for another taxi. I missed the interview n i was unable to contact the interviewer too(it was around 3pm wednesday 16th june if u can figure out him). The worstest taxi experience in my life, for the people who is looking for the review never ever book this bloody taxi service.
The friendliest and most reliable taxi company in Thornbury. Great for short trips around Thornbury or for trips into Bristol or Gloucester. Airport taxi journeys as well. Highly recommended.
I used MJ Cars twice yesterday, for a local run and also for a trip to Bristol Airport. The taxi arrived at the booked time for both trips. Driver courteous and upbeat, drove skillfully in the heavy traffic to the airport. Thanks!
Responding to your reply to my partner Marie Bailey. You admitted to not picking us up. It was not a booking error the messages between us were very clear and simple. We tried to ring you 12 times this morning as we were waiting for you at 2am but you admitted you put your phone on silent. The compensation of £50 is the difference between your price and the price we paid to get home so not really compensation. Yes you have offered us 50% off next trip so if i went against my judgement and booked you again on an airport run, there and back you would be offering us £65 off. Yes you are a small business and word of mouth is very important along with satisfying your customer! Which on this occasion you have failed.
Warning……. Anyone looking to book a taxi please avoid MJ taxis in thornbury. We booked a return journey for my family from bristol airport and was left stranded at 2am this morning. Had to get an uber which cost £113. £47 more than we were due to pay. Company agree they forgot us but won’t even compensate us for the extra. Not interested at all. Terrible service. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Very good cab service.. Dropped me Milton Keynes central all the way from Thornbury. They accepted the Job on very short notice and offered the quote better than other cab services.
Musa was spot on time picking we 4 up - even sent an email 15 minutes in advance saying he was on his way! Cheerful, respectful and a very safe driver. What's more - he knows his way around South Glos and Bristol - and even brought us back from town late on a FRIDAY EVENING. You made 4 good friends that night. Well done!
