Taking over and jacking up prices? Rookie mistake. I've seen in another review the owner is in the 'early stages' of taking over, but raising the prices without any change is always going to rub customers up the wrong way. Make improvements and THEN make changes to pricing is more understandable. Unfortunately for the owners there are better soft play alternatives and cheaper pricing in Tamworth, Hinckley and Nuneaton. I hope they improve quickly because its been a disastrous start.

We held our son’s party at Berzerk Atherstone Play Centre and it was amazing from start to finish. Everything was really well organised, which made the whole experience completely stress-free. The staff who helped host the party were fantastic, so attentive, friendly, and great with the children. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that all the kids had an amazing time. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for children’s parties.

Berzerk activity - ATHERSTONE Oh dear, attended my granddaughters party here on the 6th December. Approx 18 children, all obviously with accompanying parents. All buying food and drinks, mainly due to the delays we all endured. What an absolute shambles. It was booked before these people took over, and the promises from the original booking were not upheld nor infact discussed when the new owners made contact to change the time by an hour. A complaint has been made, and acknowledged, but a rather dismissive half hearted apology has been received, so maybe this review, by an angry grandmother may teach them to try much harder. I'm hoping that many of the other adults there last Saturday will also take the time to review. None of them would choose this place to hold their child's party, most were not impressed at at. All guests were scattered all around the room as the designated area was not kept for the party as promised. They did eventually clear a long table once another party had left to accommodate the party, but by this time people had settled elsewhere. It was absolutely packed and the room for the children to eat was running late and the children were hungry and getting miserable as we had waited so long to get into the room upstairs. The manager was extremely dismissive of my daughter's concerns when we arrived and saw how packed it was, despite her being very upset. Most of the staff were unhelpful apart from very nice young man once we had got upstairs. Long list of negative observations to be honest, including unpleasant toilets which had a blue bleachy substance in them (naughty, not allowed in public places) especially as children use those toilets! they were grubby at best. A member of staff dropped a mop on the stairs as an elderly relative was being helped down and just walked off and left it on the stairs and the person helping her had to move it. I don't think I saw a smile the whole time I was there from any of the staff. There was a long list too long for here, if you are after a weekend party, go beforehand on the weekend and check it out before you commit. Chaotic, shambolic, uninterested staff, expensive, poor at best!

Awful experience. Visited with my 11 month old Granddaughter and we were directed to the toddler area. This is clearly marked for under 5’s only. What I can only describe as a gang of feral children (none of them under 5) were continuously charging around on the equipment and came close to injuring my granddaughter numerous times. Never mind where are there parents where are the staff who should be regulating this surely?! The equipment is disappointing, nearly every interactive board was broken and if I’m honest it didn’t look the cleanest. The only saving grace was that there was no charge for the baby and only £1 for the adults. Never again.

I have to give it 3 stars because the actual soft play is very good. But if I was to base my review on being a party venue then 1 star. Had the birthday booked 3 month in advance, was told back then a MINIMUM of 10 children, that was fine. 5 days then prior to the party we receive a email saying 1 parent per child, any additional parents will have to be paid for, or will be turned away if venue was too busy. We was not told this 3 months ago. I decided that if it comes too this we will pay for the additional parents, on the day of the party there was nowhere too park, the on-site parking and street was full. when inside we was told that we don’t go upstairs to the party section until half way through, we also wasn’t aware of this before the day. We got told we have 4 tables reserved downstairs amongst all other play area goers. ( 4 chairs to a table ) we had 12 kids arrive and in total there was 31 party members, it felt very uncomfortable and cheap, seeing some of these parents standing next to tables, and I felt embarrassed, and for the sake of an extra £40 could have gone elsewhere that provides a party section where parents can relax whilst their children play. It took a while for us to figure out who actually was there to attend our sons birthday, we had not met a lot of the parents before as our sons nursery handed out majority of the invites, fortunately they came to ask if we was the parents of the child’s party they was attending as they probably saw some presents on our table we had received from some guests already. So half way through we eventually get to move upstairs, and honestly was not much better, as I said previously we was told minimum 10 children, the maximum we got told is 30?! There is absolutely no way 30 children alongside their parents can all fit in the upstairs party section. Parents again opted to stay standing. Then it came to the “host” taking lead of the party, except the host was too nervous to take the cake to our son and to start off singing happy birthday, which they asked me to do. From start to finish it just felt disorganised, uncomfortable and stressful. As I said from the start I can not take away from the actual soft play area as the kids seemed to enjoy themself and our son had a good day. However for the parents it was the opposite, with one telling us it was a awful experience and wouldn’t have even paid for it. I really hope this review is seen and that they take measures in future like not over booking parties, or allowing so many of the public knowing you have a party to provide for. Just seems like money money money let’s see how many people we can squash into our building.

It was all good until they opened the Kart area. My little one who is 4 is autistic and he does fixate on things but I was watching him stood by the gate, he was watching the other kids and when the date opened he tried to sneak in. However the staff member who was there got him out and he didn't cause drama. To my horror though 5 minutes later I watched the way she spoke to him and telling him to just go away. I was absolutely raging, for 1 he's autistic however he wasn't misbehaving, I don't speak to him like that so don't expect someone else to. I told her that and walked straight to manager, as I first started telling her what happened she said " not trying to justify but she's only 16" at this point I don't care her age. It's a kids play area, surely they should be trained to deal with all children, even if my child wasn't autist still doesn't give them that right. Absolutely awful!

First time my daughter really enjoyed so much ,but second time it was half-term, so crowded, children age of 7+ or10+ which are playing agresive what they doing on toddlers area ? Why there is not restricted something like that when the little ones can be hurt by older ones. Now I would like to ask others parents, if you see clearly your child is rude and don't let others to play there ,why you are enjoying your coffee and don't educate your child how to behave in a public place, where everyone should have the same rights? Very disappointed after today's visit and not about the place and staff... I went there to spend £10 for an hour just to see how my daughter is crying and being hurt by others .

Wow! Love this soft play anyway but went to santas grotto today and mr and mrs Claus were amazing. Bit of a wait but you got proper time with Santa, it was rushed, was intimate and really 1 to 1. They come across as wanting to be there and made it so lovely. We’ve been to drayton manor, snowdome, statfold, Telford, everywhere and this was the cheapest and best santa by far.

We attended The Play Hub today for our Daughter’s 2nd Birthday Party and were really happy overall with everything. We had a morning party slot and the venue was clean, tidy and organised. The play areas were well maintained and fairly accessible to Parents wanting to directly supervise or play with their Children. The food and drinks facilities were spot on with Adults partaking in posh coffees, cakes and breakfast baps. The sit down party element was well organised and the kids really enjoyed their hot food, drinks and desserts. I really enjoyed the experience as did our two year old and we will definitely be returning for her to have a play session sometime soon.
