I recently visited Dr Hussian at Eccleshill treatment Centre under the ENT department. I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr Hussian. From the moment I arrived i felt heard and understood. Dr Hussian is extremely knowledgeable with so much compassion for his patients. For anyone seeking an ENT specialist I would highly recommend Dr Hussian!
I didn't know this place existed until a week ago. I live literally 5 mins walk from Airedale hospital.So I assumed I would be going there for my Colonoscopy. So was very surprised when I received a phone call to book my appointment. The assessment was done on the phone, by a lovely friendly young lady. Next morning we had to go to the centre to collect my Prep pack. It was so busy and we couldn't find a parking place. So just bobbed in, luckily it didn't take long. The preparation wasn't pleasant in any way. But I got through it. I arrived for my procedure, found a place to park no problem. I was made to feel welcome. Didn't have to wait long before I was called in. Again the member of staff, tried to put me at ease. I was absolutely terrified. Both about my procedure and what they might find. I had sedation and pain killers. But the procedure was painful. However the staff were so supportive and very attentive. The findings were good news for me No Cancer was found. I was so relieved. The after care was 2nd to none. I was in and out in 2 half hours on my way home Thank you to all staff I would recommend Eccleshill centre.
A big shout out to the lady receptionist she is absolutely brilliant she sorted a wheel chair out for my husband. She looked after us made me a cup of tea gave my husband glass of water. The centre is lovely but it needs wheel chairs of different sizes porters chairs small medium and large and extra large. Also needs chairs that are high there was a lot of elderly who struggled to get out of the chairs. My husband is waiting for a hip replacement he couldn't sit in any of the chairs because they where too low. So was left standing with his zimmer. Again the lady receptionist came to his aid and went to see the nurses to see if he could go lay down on a trolly. Everyone was very professional but please take on board about the porters chairs and the height of the other chairs
My wife and I have been receiving ENT treatment at this clinic. We are both absolutely amazed by the level of care and efficiency at this practice. Not only are we seen on time, but we have had the best treatment and follow up too. From entering to leaving, we could not have asked for a more pleasant and professional service. Thank you to everyone, you're doing a great job.
Visited today for a small procedure. Whilst it was a bit uncomfortable and a bit painful for a minute or two, Dr Hudson and the 2 nurses with her were absolutely amazing. Put me at ease, the whole time. Talking me through what was happening and holding my hand. Receptionist was also lovely, finding me when I had left my umbrella in the waiting area. Although I didn't use them, there was a drinks and snack machine in the waiting area. It was very busy when I arrived so had difficulty parking, so glad I went early.
I attended on the 18th September for 2 procedures. All staff very professional and friendly. They made a very frightening and unpleasant procedure bearable! Thank you x
Amazing service. I was so nervous for my colposcopy and smear and L.Mann and the nurse were so calming and supportive. They were also very knowledgeable and happy to share the knowledge in hope to ease my anxiety! My appointment was prompt and i was in and out within half an hour! I had an appointment on Saturday 24th September for an uncomfortable procedure. I was extremely nervous about it but the staff were really kind and put my mind at ease. After the procedure one of the ladies called Janet gave me a drink and some biscuits and made sure i was okay before i left the building. I can't recommend this place more highly. Staff are very welcoming and understands how worried and nervous some people might be.
Could not reccomend this place any less. Had an endoscopy booked in after I had some acid reflux symtoms which had disappeared by the time of the procedure. Decided to go through with it anyway. I was planning on being sedated but the nurse advised that there was no point and I should just use throat spray. Horrible experience which caused me to heavily wretch and I could not go through with the procedure. All the wrenching caused my symtoms to come back worse than before and still experiencing them 2 months on.
Visited 24.7.2022. Extremely positive experience. Staff were polite , professional and friendly. Immediately put me at ease and explained the procedure throughly. Consultant was extremely thorough and talked to me throughout the procedure explaining everything step by step. Nurses went through everything again as I was discharged . Thank you.
