   Absolutely shocking been trying to get 10YEAR OLD CHILD an appointment all week and every time I’ve rang they said they wasn’t any appointments absolute JOKE OF A SURGERY Then I took him down and they said they was fully booked!!! And NOT ONE PERSON WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM!!! stay away from theses doctors absolutely shocking… And he’s got infection and also been in A&E for the past two nights then they told me to go to the walk-in centre with him absolute joke… And my poor child has St needs and also suffers with anxiety at the age of 10 jokers So this is why I’m giving them a one star!! And YES IVE MOVED SURGERY TO A LOT BETTER PLACE

   For 5 months I’ve had a battle trying to get a prescription (prescribed by the hospital in 2023). I’ve had reviews, I’ve called them so many times and been told I need a review (that I had 5 months ago). Initially with my prescription they decided the specialist at the hospital was wrong so wouldn’t allow me to have it til they contacted numerous times. They sent me to a pharmacy for a review, they couldn’t prescribe what I am supposed to be prescribed as it is a double dose to typical. The drs surgery keep trying to send me back for some reason and the receptionist does not listen and repeats the same thing after you’ve explained why you can’t. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult and so poorly run.

I for once feel like I'm listened to after being so upset and frustrated at my previous experience at a different surgery. Well done to everyone at kirkgate surgery. I really appreciate you all.    Worst and most infuriating staff I’ve ever met anywhere in the world. PAULINE you have no business working anywhere where people need help. I was polite and sympathetic with you being busy and you shouted at me and was the most rude person I’ve met. Utterly disgusting. Calling for an appointment is impossible with directions to do it online if you ever do get through. Doing it online results in a response to call at 8.30. Call at 8.30 and all lines busy. Go down in person and they are rude and nasty.

   Had to complain on 2 occasions in the past when I was told I would be called back and the calls never happened. In one instance I was extremely ill and had to ring 111 which could have been avoided. Now getting an appointment is quite difficult.

   Worst doctores ever, been with them since I was a baby & the last 2 year has been a struggle too even get an appointment! I ring up from 8.30 for the phone to be engaged for 10 minutes some times 20 minutes, for them to then answer, to ask for my name to then tell me their fully booked for the day, I've not been able to see a doctor for months now an neither has my 2 year old son! I will be leaving this doctors as it's been the same way for 2 years. So much to being a loyal patient their you naff all in return, I hope the place gets shut down because it's no good to majority of the patience their as I've spoke to many in their before an everyone else has complained

   Some of the worst customer service I have experienced from anywhere. The reception staff are incredibly rude and treat you as if you're an idiot for asking any questions. Not to mention the doctors that treat you like just another number they can add to their "patients seen" list for the day. We will be finding another surgery as soon as possible as every single time we've been there we've had a bad experience.
