I couldn't even begin to rate these people. Let me say why I can't rate this service. my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD Over 4 years ago In this time which my daughter has become worse my child has had no medication offered at all NOTHING. Infact in four years I have had at the most six phone calls all made to them by myself never once have these people contacted me. Each time I have made contact I have had every excuse in the book yet the one they use is there is a shortage of medication or we will ring you when it becomes available it makes me sick to think the NHS can keep people waiting on treatment for over 4 years yet others can enter the u.k & get this medication at the drop of a hat. Shame on the nhs.

staff are incopitent, can't listen to paitents experiences and hire unqualified individuals who ruin the paitents mental health, also disrespect minoritys and frequently misgender their transgender paitents. This specific trainee who is also a regisitered GP (should be a registered OFD) named Annie was especially horrible, Should be sacked immediately, as she is a danger to the paitents, especially the children. don't reccomend. dont send ur kids here. I MEAN IT.

I found this service really helpful. My child had been struggling for years before coming here. Staff couldn’t do enough for him and really helped in out when he needed it. Without the staff here I don’t think we would’ve managed the last few years. Massive thanks goes to Maurice who was fantastic with my child and myself. My only concern is how long you have to wait for an autism assessment. Up to 3 years waiting is just far too long

I wish I could give negative stars. This service has given me lifelong PTSD and marginalisation that I've been dealing with for the past 13 years. I was a burned out Autistic school non-attender and they failed to recognise my neurology. I was called names, emotionally blackmailed, guilt tripped, gaslit and they centered my narcissist mother's narrative. I was recovering from glandular fever and they didn't care. I, an exhausted 14 year old girl in shutdown, eventually had to do their job for them, demanding a change of schools, because they weren't accommodating the autism, physical disabilities or burnout with desperately needed home-schooling or a proper break from societal demands. All they did was invade my home and insult me. And then they insulted me for doing their job! They forced me into three years of sewersaddle Autistic burnout at secondary school until I finally dropped out in Year 12. It broke my mind and body. I have been abandoned by society for the past 13 years, living in poverty and precarity, unemployable because of Autism, but still with no autism or adhd diagnosis, no disability support, no carer. Still on a damn adult Autism waiting list at age 27. No apologies, no compensation. No recognition. Alienated, worthless, marginalized. Couldn't finish A Levels. I feel sub-human. I am furious. I have been through homelessness and countless unaliving attempts, getting PTSD from every service I interact with, all because society failed to diagnose and supporty disability when I was 13. Autistic/intellectually disabled girls are completely failed by this service. Our mortality rate is in our 30s and I often hope to be one of them. I cannot move past it. They ruined my life TWICE. Year 9 and Year 12. How do you fail a child so massively?! The second time, they sat me down and used CBT to systematically gaslight me about my disabilities. I was friendless and alone, but told I had friends. I was unwashed and plain, but told I was pretty. I was failing grades and unable to study, but they told me I'm academic. I was drowning, but they told me I was on dry land. I was utterly exhausted and couldn't cope with basic functioning tasks. I had intellectual disabilities and they completely ignored and erased them. The absolute lack of empathy or training is disgusting. I wish nothing but ill on this service. Today I had yet another PTSD meltdown over CAMHS ableism, prompting me to write this. Over the years I have tried emailing the various perpetrators but I still can't heal. There's a massive gaping hole in my life where a diagnosis should be. Why am I still fighting for that?! I wish I could sue them. They commit outrageous medical neglect of minors. I have watched it repeat itself through the generations. Disabled children are still being abused and neglected by CAMHS.

If I could rate zero I would. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing service as my parents and I turned up for an appointment for my younger sister, was left waiting for 20 minutes only to go up to the desk to the receptionist to be told the doctor was off, and not only that we were told we were meant to be having a phone appointment. YET in the letter we received confirming the date and time said it was a face to face one. We understand mistakes happen, yet to be left waiting by receptionist who knew we were there and her knowing we were there waiting, and to be told blatant lies about the reasons we were not been seen. We had to leave my younger sister with her nana due to her been off school unwell which anyone with a child with complex needs know any change in routine is very stressful for the child. CAMHs should be more than aware and understanding of this. Yet still found it competley fine to leave us waiting knowing no doctors were there, and to not even bother beforehand to ring and let us know. Alot of work and re training needs to be done, as they're supposed to be there to help children and parents not make things worse, and be completely incompident. Mistakes like this shouldn't happen especially whilst dealing with children's needs. No apology has been given by the people involved, just excuses passing the blame to each other which is even more unprofessional. Disgustined people like this are left in charge to deal with vulnerable children and parents just seeking help and support. Utterly disrespectful.

Very damaging to my mental health I was referred many years ago as I much needed counselling and on my first appointment I was racially profiled and had very snarky, rude and offensive comments said to me by the counsellor such as “are your parents forcing you to go to Syria?” “Are being forced to dress like that?” These things have been very hard on me and I never returned even though I was at such a low point and have finally got the courage to mention this incident as no one in my family know why I never returned even now it is so painful for me this memory. If I could formally complain in any way I would. The counsellor seriously is not fit for the role and I hope she never treats anyone again

Abysmal service. If I could rate zero I would. Incompetent, uninformed and hugely damaging work. A nightmare to deal with and obtain information which is important to children.

Really badly run. My son has an autism diagnosis and is under these. I don't think any member of staff work full time their all part time which means when one wants to communicate with the other it takes a week until there both on at the same time and god help you if you need an appointment with two or more members of staff it will take at least 6 month. Staff regularly off sick don't which affects the service. Nobody gets back to you. They just offer some other form of therapy which never works as they can't be consistent as there always off sick or "not in that week" Absolute diabolical to say they are the ones that should support our young and vulnerable there's no help offered they just fob you off. Wouldn't wish having to go through Bradford CAMHS on my worst enemy getting anything even an appointment is harder than dealing with my child's disability.
