The worst doctors I have ever been registered at. Shocking receptionists! Not all but I have seen particularly one have 0 compassion, be rude and tell a younger member of staff ‘ they just need to email in’ when he approached her for advice because he had a patient on the phone regarding a safeguarding issue. Sickening.
Arrived at surgery with my mum at 0900 am for a 0905 appointment, still sat waiting at 0930,when we asked how much longer it will be they said you should be at Guiseley surgery not here ,it was their fault. Dreadful service not impressed
Most of the receptionists are lovely. They explain why or why not you can get an appointment. Unfortunately, there are several who seem to be rude and argumentative. Getting an appointment is so incredibly difficult. Phone or face to face is like trying to get blood out of a stone. Sorry, but it's not the surgery it once was.
I had a very positive experience today. I managed to get a same day appointment this morning. I saw a locum doctor who was very professional, friendly and thorough. Also, I spoke with a couple of the ladies on reception about a different matter and found them really helpful. There does seem to have been some changes to staff which in my opinion is for the better.
Unbelievably bad service by phone. Other than attending the clinic at 08;00 to book an appointment you have very little chance of booking one in the next few days and absolutely no chance of the same day this has been going on for far too long. I complained to one of the doctors and the response was “find anotherrr practice”. That is surely not the solution.
Lovely staff. I attended for my yearly diabetic eye screening.
Apparently you can only get through by phone if it's the day after the spring equinox, during a full moon on a cloudy evening between 2:30-2:35pm and if your number ends in 4. I can't make my appointment, I can't get through to change/cancel it (after many attempts) so that wasted slot is on your heads.
Ok, so this is on behalf of my 88 year old dad whom, yesterday needed to speak to a Dr. Tried to get through and was left on hold. In desperation took a bus from Guiseley to Yeadon to sit and hope someone would speak to him. I later that day tried to call to be 10th in line then "we are at capacity ring back". Try answering the phone. Disgusting service, stop running it as a call centre.
I have been with this practice for 35 years and my husband a little longer. We are getting older now and have some health issues. Having said that,we have had significant issues before. I am so disappointed that people with health diagnosis, are not given what I feel, any priority. I would nevertheless
Please please please !!! I urge anyone that wishes to use a emergency dentist. Do not use these cowboys. They do not know what they're doing. I had 4 anesthetics to numb my tooth which i was told needs pulling out. It never numbed the tooth and every time they tried pulling it out i was in agony. I also had a abscess. Im sure i should've been prescribed antibiotics for the abscess to go down before they even attempted to pull the tooth out. They didn't even have the right equipment. Nothing for suction to take the blood and spit out of your mouth and no basin to spit in as well. They wouldn't even allow me to spit in the sink or bin. Got told to swallow everything. Ridiculous. Im in more pain now than i initially went in with. Eventually walked out of there. Really unprofessional rude and negligent. These people should not be practicing dental care.
