   Love this place. It's well off the beaten track, and there's no car park but don't let that stop you (ample convenient street parking). It's an old church hall, with balcony, converted into a very intimate music venue. Good sound system, friendly staff, and cracking pizzas ! The venue attracts a very eclectic mix of bands and customers, of all ages & demographics. Capacity is a couple of hundred, so if you see a group advertise that you fancy, don't hesitate in getting your ticket because they will sell out quickly. Have been here a few times now and it's always a good night. Disabled access is okay too, although you are limited to ground floor viewing. Drinks are reasonably priced too. I highly recommend this venue and it really is worth making the effort to go because it's a cracking place, with some seriously good (and occasionally well known) acts appearing.

   Just brilliant. Our first time visiting Acapela Studios and what friendly welcome we received. Everyone working here was helpful and cheerful. We couldn't believe we got to see Joan as Policewoman in this small, intimate venue! It was just magical. We sat downstairs and had a great view- Even on the balcony, nowhere is far from the performers. We travelled some way to get to it because I'm a big fan of Joan as Policeman, but it was worth every stressful moment of the journey back home! Thank you all.

   "Welcome and thank you for supporting live music". That's how they greet you at Acapela studios and that's just the beginning of an awesome evening. The pizza is class, the venue is stunning and the music, top notch. We will be back for loads more that's for sure.

   We were there for a Marrakesh Express concert last Friday. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman saying "thank you for supporting live music". Good start Tribute band were excellent, GET THEM BACK! Venue was really nice, intimate and friendly. If you want 5 star comfort, stay at home.if you want great music and atmosphere, it is a must. Great night

   A little gem of a venue tucked away in a village on the outskirts of Cardiff. It's an old converted chapel full of character and still retains the identity of it's previous life. Small, intimate but not cramped. The balcony is not the best though for those of a longer leg or with mobility issues. Stairs are a bit tight and it's bench seating. Downstairs they have bookable tables where they serve home cooked pizzas plus there is other seating in rows . Stage is of a good size without being imposing. The facilities are great with a nice bar serving a range of local beers and soft drinks. Staff are also very helpful. All in it's a great venue but the only thing I think let's it down is the seating - the bases of on the chairs are too thin for sitting for any length of time - take a cushion or seat pad to sit on. Your backside will thank you. Go to an event here if you can.

   We didn't really look into the venue as we we wanted to go to see the band. When we got there it was a bit disorganised and it just felt weird. We sat upstairs and realised just how small the place was and how uncomfortable our chairs were. Pizza is the only food and I believe they are all £10 each. A bottle of wine is £15 and a pint is £5 (from what we had). Long story short, the small venue made it intimate and the sound resonated through us. We could see all the band up close and see them playing the instruments and hear the sound from the instruments. It was amplified, but we could hear the real sounds from them. We went to watch Bruce Springsteen and because the venue was small, it actually made it! We are definitely going back and with a few more friends next time. We went from hating it when we got there, to not wanting to leave. What a wonderful, quirky little place.
